Maru adopts its name from a native Korean language, San Ma Ru, which means ‘mountaintop’. This is our symbol of quality as the finest coffee beans are grown and harvested from areas of high altitude. Born from a love of process and everyday quality, we are inspired by all things analog and the simplicity of good coffee. We believe that quality does not have to be austere and that tradition can be respected as well as re-imagined. Maru is made with intention, balance, and a love for the ritual of a well-made coffee.

The vibe is warm and relaxed, and the team are always friendly and welcoming (even during the morning rush). When I’m grabbing a quick takeaway , it never disappoints.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, quality coffee spot.
Idk about all that hoopla, but here’s what I can tell you, it tastes damn good.
With each sip you get the perfect mix of flavors. First you taste the rich, strong, and bitter (in the best way) coffee – which also has a tiny hint of orange which works wonderfully. Then, just as it’s about to become overpowering, you get the sweet cream on the back of the tongue, balancing it out. Each sip was a delight.
That said, by the time I was 70ish% done, I wasn’t enjoying it as much. I’m unsure why, but wanted to share my honest feedback. I really wanted to like it as much as I first did, but toward the end maybe the balance was off or something, or the underlying flavors didn’t work as well as I thought, but didn’t like it as much.
Still, I will return. Very good coffee.
I really liked the minimalist vibe of the shop—clean, simple, and calm, which makes it a great little escape from the usual Beverly Hills buzz. It’s the perfect spot to swing by for a quality coffee and then head over to the park next door to relax. Definitely one of my new go-to spots in the area!
The person after me in line got their pastry before me because she was a “regular” and we ordered the same pastry while I waited a few min for mine.
