The wines were very good and love the fried egg plant with cheese and tomato dish was absolutely amazing l, impressed by how good it was. Our Ribeye was very tasty too. For the whiskey, I expected it to be slightly better with the bigger and clearer ice . But everything is good!

We went for the restaurant week menu, 3 course meal for 56 bucks each. We expected smaller portions but we were wrong, the portions were normal size so we were stuffed by the end. Short rib pasta was really good, eggplant was ok but the gnocchi were delicious. Cheesecake was excellent and the canolli cake was delicious and extremely large. Service was good, main server was all business but Chelsey was awesome.

The Valentine’s Day fixed menu was a huge disappointment for “fine” dining. It was very awkward from the start. We had to split a side salad (with an odd number of croutons), and the thing was just lettuce and dressing.

The waiter said it was “family style”, so romantic /s.

The Prime rib and lobster were alright, but no better than what a home chef could do. Doubt we’ll be back for any holidays moving forward.

One last thing for the other River’s restaurant – whoever at Wheelhouse decided Pineapple Pasta should exist… shame on you.

My daughter just turned 21 and this was her visit to a casino. We decided to dine at Martorano”s. First, we went on a Sunday, where both the casino and the restaurant were not crowded at all. Pros: The atmosphere of the restaurant is exquisite. Music playing (soft jazz) so you could speak easily with the family. The food was very good, notably the Fra Diavolo was excellent and plentiful. My wife’s Filet Mignon and Lobster (Lobster was an addition) was good and cooked to her liking. Her Martorano’s salad was excellent. My daughter’s Lobster Francaise was good but the risotto was a bit disappointing as it was a bit grainy and overwhelmed by mushrooms. Cons: price, price, price. When shrimp cocktail is priced by the shrimp ($12 per shrimp) you think about ordering it. In fairness the size of the shrimp were excellent but Id rather you just list on menu as 3 shrimp for $36. Overall, a good experience but I would question going back there based on the prices.

Outstanding steaks and super drinks

Fire and Spice martini and the Pumpkin spice white Russians were exceptional. Whitney and Arden were fantastic. The cinnamon maple bourbon soup was the perfect desert. You could not ask for a better experience!!!!
Sorry..the ribeye steak didn’t make the pictures roll but was the best

On August 2, 2024, after an evening of enjoying The Spinners and The Commodores at the River’s Casino, my guest and I decided to have a late dinner at Martorano’s Prime Pittsburgh. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host and found plenty of seating available, so no reservation was needed.

The charm of the restaurant is undeniably beautiful, and our seating by the windows offered a stunning night view of the Ohio River and Point State Park. One of the hidden gems of this restaurant is their $12 menu for late-night dining after 9 PM. Our server was quite surprised when we asked for this menu, which is not widely advertised. Although the selections are limited, it allowed us to enjoy a delicious meal without spending hundreds of dollars.

We each selected a salad from the main menu, and our sides of wings and fish sliders came from the late-night menu. The ambiance was enhanced by low lighting and a DJ playing soulful musical selections of funk, R&B, rock, and jazz. The meal selections were absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection.

However, there were a few drawbacks that prevented me from giving a full 5-star rating. There were moments of long delays in having our food order taken, and once the food was brought to us, we had to call the server back to refill our water. The table was not cleared as we finished each item, leaving it packed with menus and plates from our meals. Additionally, our server seemed surprised that we knew about the late-night $12 menu and asked how we heard about it.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to others. Just know that the $12 food menu is available after 9 PM, and the main menu prices can be quite high. Despite the service hiccups, the food and atmosphere were excellent. The attached photos showcase the delicious salad and the restaurant’s lovely scenery.

We were a party of 2. Poor service. For the price point service should be amazing. Saw our waitress 4 times the whole night. Joseph, the waiters helper was very nice and did his best, which is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one. He was doing ten times the job the waitress was doing.
Drinks took ten minutes to get to the table.
Steak was delicious, the one bright point…sides were not hot! I would have sent them back but we couldn’t find anyone to actually send them back with, so we just ate them. Sides probably would have been good if they were served hot. (Risotto, mashed potatoes and green beans)
Again…with the service…for a $200+ meal, I should not have to look around to find a server.

I’ve had the same food in other places for half of its cost at this restaurant and tasted far better. When you charging like a 5 start resort you better have cooks providing a food reflecting that. I wasn’t impressed at all with my veal dinner, nor with the appetizers we had.
I wouldn’t recommend the veal plate at this time. The calamari appetizer was average and so was the stuffed peppers one.

We have dined @ Martarono’s 87 times in the past 2 1/2 years. Food is decent. We go because they are open late and the servers are great. The manager however is lacking in customer service. We spend a lot of money and always tip around 35% When a drink was made wrong ( and we didn’t want to complain the server insisted she take it back and have it remade – as we are regulars and she wanted to make sure it was right ) The manager came over and was blatenly rude to my husband. Because of his demeanor and the way he acted in this situation we won’t be going back because of him. The only reason we didn’t walk out is bc we had already ordered and I was not going to let the server lose her table or tip. As regulars who went to the restaurant approximately 2-3 x a month – we will never be going back
