Breakfast was fast and great. No long wait time to be seated unlike Cracker Barrel. Everything cooked to order as requested. Encouraged, I visited again for lunch. That shouldn’t have been The Problem. The menu said “roasted turkey.” My tip is Do Not Order! I’m no detective, but sliced inferior quality Lunch meat shouldn’t qualify as “roasted.” Everything was Bland. I told the waitress that they shouldn’t serve this period. The gravy tasted like it came straight out of a can. The Lunch meat slices had the texture of slime. The salad was the best because they didn’t have to cook anything. I think I had to specially ask for the roll that had been promised. I asked for the meatloaf to replace the unedible turkey dish. It was served without mash, because I had already had the mash, now cold, from the bad plate of food. In the end, I left having had a meal. Giving this place 2 stars, because breakfast was above average, and they made good on making an alternative on the disappointing Lunch order. I haven’t been back since the Fall season.

Service was super fast and friendly. Food was delicious!! We had open face hot roast beef and gravy with mashed potatoes and a Gyro with fries. We took desserts to go. Restaurant was clean and modern.

Place was clean and organized. Service was a bit slow and not because of staff shortage; plenty of staff behind the counter talking and avoiding eye contact with customers. Could hear the bell in the kitchen and the staff just continued talking behind the counter, instead of getting food out to customers. Ordered my favorite Classic Reuben and not sure if fresh corned beef or heated corned beef cold cuts. The Reuben classic was less than I was expecting but the price was not bad so, oh-well. Had to remind the waitress about the cole slaw. Behind the counter was a concentrated juice dispenser that seemed inappropriate for a family diner. During the time I was checking out and paying my bill one of the staff, a manager, I suppose, asked numerous times about my visit and the pictures I took. She knows that some improvement can be made.

The breakfast here is always high quality and hot, the house special and chip beef gravy are some of my favorites. The lunch menu is also quite good and I have never had a bad meal. Overall, good diner food at a decent price and good service.

Half of my order was cold; all of it was bland and overpriced. Had to ask for the roll that came with my entrée (according to the menu) and the waitstaff thought I was asking for free bread, mentioning that they “don’t bring it out unless asked because people didn’t always eat it.” I just wanted the roll that was supposed to come with my food. ♀️ Regardless, the bread ended up being the best part of the meal for me. Don’t get dessert if you have peanut/tree nut allergies because everything is mixed in the dessert case together with no thought of cross-contamination.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, fantastic food! Out of this world soups! The Italian Wedding Soup was amazing, as was the crab bisque! My little girl enjoyed her spaghetti and meatball, and my wife’s Philly Wrap looked tasty as well! We’ll definitely be back!

Approximately less than 40 hours ago I was treated to some food at Martinsburg Family Diner (in Martinsburg West Virginia) by a couple of my family members. I shared some tasty corn nugget appetizers with them and the Alpine omelette with hashbrowns and rye bread toast that I had were also very tasty.
