Lovely hole-in-the-wall breakfast/lunch spot in Brookline. Good food portions and strong coffee in a nostalgic diner atmosphere. Bar seating available and maybe about 6-8 small tables. I visited during a Wednesday morning, so plenty of seating available, but I imagine it gets crowded on the weekends!

Such a delicious little neighborhood spot! We just moved to the area and can tell this will become a regular brunch spot for us. It is a low-key diner feel; kind of small but decent capacity, and it seems the turnover is efficient. We got the Albanian Breakfast and the Figs in a Blanket French toast and both were so flavorful! Prices are typical for Boston; with our 2 entrees and 2 coffees, it ended up being like $60 w/ tip.

Fast and friendly service, incredible good tasting food with generous portions, not to mention reasonable prices. Try the Irish breakfast

A little chilly if you are near the door in the winter, but the food was delicious and definitely very generous, and the service is great. Had the lox benedict- so good. Lox was good, and very generous. Hash browns were delicious too. If you are a Mavericks fan- look at -the owner at the cash register- resembles Raul Malo- definitely a plus for me!! Wish I lived in Brookline again!

I’ve been eating here for 20 years since broke college art school days. Food is always fresh and delicious. Menu is diverse, from healthy to hearty. Service is friendly. Coffee cup kept full. Vibe is hometown comfort for any and All. No corporate nothing. The place you always bring friends visiting from out of town or recommend to a stranger. Weekend brunch line worth the wait. Enjoy the smalltalk w nice people you will meet. Leaving for work now. Full and happy.

Owner is awesome, food is made in front of you, and the diner vibes are good. Things to note on the menu: muffins are cut in half and heated, home fries are wickedly good, their french toast is deadly to your wallet, the sausage is classic good ol’ breakfast sausage, and the breakfast sandwiches are simple and tasty. Bless this place, best find I ever found.

Fun little greasy spoon coffee shop. Very little seating and it’s tight! But size isn’t everything. Just account for a possible wait when visiting.
Counter seating also as well takeout.
If you’re differently-abled, you will find navigating the space difficult. Restroom is up narrow twisting stairs and walking aisles are tight.
Service was a little slow but food was expected. Would visit again.

Honestly this place deserves at least a 4.5. Though I’ve only had the breakfast, the food is consistently very good. The eggs are always cooked exactly how I asked, the bacon is crispy and the home fries are always delicious. My coffee is refilled multiple times. The service is friendly and fast. It just feels like a classic, cozy diner. Worth the price in my opinion.
