The food was really good IMO even as leftovers at home and I hate leftovers. LOL Don’t mind the pasta on the plate that wasn’t from Martin’s. I really enjoyed my food from them though and I could see my self craving it again.

The young kid working in the back in the kitchen messing around with the phone and right in front of customs and me putting things in his ear then wash his hand. Not wearing gloves at all. It’d be the first and last time I’ll be coming here telling him having gloves and not putting nothing in his ear. That’s disgusting

Great fresh food , and very friendly atmosphere. And very clean. Food cost very reasonable. I bought 3 meal for less than $35.00. That’s great.

Highly recommend

The food was bland , not authentic Puerto Rican Flavor, the Guineo in escabechi was missing the escabechi , after I ate here I’ve been sick to to the stomach for several days.

The one constant is inconsistency. Great meal one day and a mediocre meal the next. Originating from Puerto Rico, Martin’s serves latin fare in carefully measured portions. Pork and chicken are always available and each day brings new specials. Having been about 6 times, my experience is you seldom know what you’ll end up with. When it’s good, it’s real good. Try the chicken.

I walked in for the first time today.
No one in the restaurant. One staff person in the phone in Spanish… didn’t even acknowledge my presence. After reading the entire menu displayed on the wall and still no one spoke to me. I just turned around & walked out. So I have no idea if their food is any good. Sorry.

Typical Puertorican food. The chicken, pork and steak is the closest I found in the South Tampa area to what Puertorican food should taste like. Always busy during lunch time so that speaks volumes of how good the food is.

The food was good. However, staff seem like they hate to work there. No customer service at all. Also, overpriced… $24 for whole chicken and one side.

Never again.

A Puertorrican food paradise!!
To all of you Puertorrican people who are missing the flavors from our beautiful Island this is a Most go to.. in the area.
Even if like me you have to drive an hour from where you are to get there..believe me you won’t regret it..it was sooo sooo worth it.
We had a
number 3 family combo that came with:
1 hole chicken
1 order of pernil or ribs
2 rices ( exquisite rice with green pigeons)
2 sides yuca al Mojo/batata (so awesome)
and an extra side of guineitos and cuajitos (the bomb) $49.50
For a family of 4 and we all ate and where very full.

The food was amazing that’s why I gave you five stars because I miss the place from back home and with only one little taste/small bite of your food you bring back P.R to me.

On a different note from a client perspective your cashier service at the front can improve.
all the guys where attentive smiling and your cashier was rude we asked her a few questions and she answer them with no care to help and rushing us to order yelling to the other employees and rushing us because there was more people in line…even when it was our first time at your place and you only have 1 menu at the end of the line…
But overall you have a great place.

I learned in the way.. not to judge a service by my first visit..everybody can have a bad day..if that, it would be a very different rating.
Food 5 + service 3

Simply the best Puerto Rican food in the area. You can find great classic dishes from the island. We’ve been coming here for quite some time, and they have been consistent all these years. I totally recommend this place.
