We visited this Italian restaurant located in the heart of Louisville, inside a shopping center. The quality of both the food and the service was excellent. They paid great attention to gluten-free options, and since it was my birthday, they even prepared a wonderful little dessert for me. A perfect place to enjoy a meal in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely loved the food and drinks!! My appetizer was spectacular-looking and delish, and my entree was just the right size and yummy.
The only gripe was that it was a bit tight at the table – we were a part of a larger group, and could have used some extra space between chairs (and before anyone says it: no, everyone at the table was the size of ONE airline economy seat!!)
Will definitely come back to try more things on the menu!

The service was extremely slow. The server was the bartender and she was attending the bar and dining room. I ordered the house salad & meatballs and spaghetti. The salad was drenched in dressing and the meatballs and spaghetti were terrible. The meatballs tasted terrible, not sure what type of meat it was. The worst part was that it made me sick. Money wasted but never again at this restaurant. My experience was horrible. They need to di much better. The hostess was not friendly.

I recently had the chance to dine at Martini Italian Bistro, and overall, it was an excellent experience. The food was absolutely delicious and left a lasting impression. I ordered the chicken parmesan over fettuccine, and it was everything I hoped it would be. The chicken was perfectly breaded and fried to a golden crisp, topped with rich marinara and just the right amount of melted mozzarella and parmesan. Each bite had a great balance of crunch, sauce, and cheese. The pasta underneath was cooked to the perfect texture, coated lightly in sauce so it wasn’t overwhelming but still complemented the chicken beautifully. It was hearty, flavorful, and plated well, making it not only tasty but visually appealing, too.
The atmosphere at Martini Italian Bistro also added to the experience. It had that welcoming, warm Italian restaurant vibe where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The staff was friendly and attentive for the most part, which made the evening feel comfortable.
The only real downside was with my to-go order. It took over 30 minutes just for one order to be prepared, and while I was told I’d get a call when it was ready, that follow-up never happened. On top of that, the silverware was forgotten, which was a little frustrating since it was meant to be eaten outside the restaurant. These may seem like small things, but they stand out because everything else was so well executed.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Martini Italian Bistro for their food and atmosphere. If they tighten up their to-go service, it would be close to flawless. I’ll definitely be going back for another plate of their chicken parmesan.

Honestly pretty disappointed with this place. We decided to treat my great grandmother to dinner here and request we be put in a quieter part of the restaurant if possible. I understand if accommodations cannot be met but when I walk into a restaurant that only has 2 tables seated I see no reason why it couldn’t be accommodated. We were then seated right next to 2 party’s of 10. Restaurant did get busier as the night went on so maybe it was just my luck of the draw.. fine. We ordered calamari to start. It came out unseasoned and chewy and a fairly small portion. Unfortunately the food didn’t get much better. My pasta sauce was watery. My partners dish was flavorless and bland. Given what we paid I would of rather gone to olive garden.

Went at lunchtime on Tuesday before ChristmasEve.. They had just opened and were almost empty. Waitress was fantastic. Got the Pollo Picata and it was great. The bread was also good and paired well with the pasta. Got a tea and with tip total came to about $27. Will for sure go back. Theres 10 other dishes I want to try!

We had a great experience at Martini Italian Bistro. Upon viewing the menu, we placed our drink order, and bread was brought to the table. The Blood Orange Martini was very good and we enjoyed our salads. The entrées were delicious, and the portions were great. We even had some leftovers for the following day. There is indoor and outdoor seating. (Indoor has a classier, more formal feel with table linens) I would highly recommend trying Martini Italian Bistro for the quality food and atmosphere, and I love that you can make reservations.
