Our first time here and it was very good. We sat outside on the deck with a view of the river and New Jersey acrossed it. The service was very good, friendly, and our food and drinks came in a timely manner. Prices are on.point, the food was delicious. The fried green tomatoes with shrimp and thick cut bacon, was awesome! The fries were not bad, a bit too crunchy, but the garlic aeoli was outstanding. If you’ve ever in New Hooe, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Martine’s is a New Hope staple. While dinner service doesn’t start until 5pm, you can grab a drink and snacks at the bar while you wait. Highly recommend making a reservation because the restaurant isn’t super big and is a popular place (also gets quite loud). The menu isn’t huge but all the selections are great. For starters, we got the pumpkin chorizo soup which was perfect for fall and had a nice little kick from the chorizo. For mains, we got the Thai curry mussels (large portion and great flavor), fried green tomatoes (3 topped with shrimp and bacon, so a sizable portion), wild boar ribs (covered in onions and peppers), and the steak frites (large portion of steak and perfectly fried fries). We ended the meal with the mousse- large scoop with whipped cream. The mousse was a pretty thick consistency, just a comment for those who are looking for something that is lighter and fluffier. It was a solid meal, nothing special but a nice dinner with friends.

A remarkable restaurant serving American cuisine with a side of friendly service. The picturesque views along the river are wonderful and there is both inside and outside dining. The deviled eggs and crab sandwich were amazing. Helpful Hint: Great place to have a meal before or after a performance at the Buck County Playhouse. We had a delightful lunch and then enjoyed a short walk to the theater.

You can’t beat dining outside along the river on an absolutely beautiful fall evening. We both enjoyed the wild boar ribs, did not taste gamey at all. The cod and steak were good. Prices are reasonable. An oasis amidst the craziness in town!

It’s our tradition to visit Martine’s restaurant when we visit our nephews in Morristown PA. And the food and service has always been great, today I ordered the beef tips with fingerlin potatoes and a side order of fries that was delicious. Our server Sal was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

Wanted to share my experience from two Years ago on Valentine’s Day, I never do reviews but this has been bothering me because this is the only restaurant in New Hope that I will never go to ever again. plus this is the only restaurant I’ve been to anywhere where I’ve had a terrible experience. I’m a chef and understand it can get busy but when we made a reservation we still had to wait an hour, we were patient, things were fine. Then we got seated, we ordered food and were super excited. First course was great, second course not so much as we had to wait another hour to get our entree. Then the food arrived and it was the first time I was ever served a RAW steak. I would never send food back if it was a different temperature but when it’s raw food I had no choice. I ordered it medium- the meat was just seared and put on the plate it was ice cold. When I went to send it back they were very understanding but did not offer to comp anything on the bill and acted like everything was perfectly normal. Working in the restaurant industry I know this is not how this should have been handled. This was my first time dining with them and my last time. Hopefully ownership has changed since then but please beware.

Martine’s RiverHouse is a gem — riverside dining at its finest. We snagged a table out on the deck overlooking the Delaware River and from the moment we sat down it was pure charm. The view alone might win you over, but the food and service truly seal the deal.

The menu is broad and thoughtfully done — we started with the crab cocktail and a couple of fresh salads, then shared a crab-cake sandwich and a burger. The sandwich was absolutely the best crab cake I’ve ever had: crispy outside, tender inside, and loaded with flavor.

For mains, the steak and chicken dishes we tried were generous and satisfying. Portions are hearty, and you get real value for what you pay.

The vibe hits a perfect balance — relaxed enough for a laid-back lunch, but classy enough for a date night or a special evening. Service was friendly and attentive, and we felt welcome from start to finish.

If you’re heading to New Hope and want a great meal with river views — especially around sunset — Martine’s RiverHouse should be top of your list. I’d happily come back again (and will).

This is a nice river view restaurant with good food! We had an amazing lunch here. We ordered the cozy autumn soup, crab cake sandwich, lobster roll, and burger. The soup was surprisingly good, and the crab cake sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. The lobster roll was just okay, but everything else made up for it.

It was a great experience overall, but one thing to note is that they don’t have cups for kids. They serve water in glass jars, which isn’t ideal for little ones.

Still, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend it for the food and the lovely view.

Came for a midweek dinner. It was nice because it was quiet and we were able to enjoy a nice meal out on the water with a pretty view. Food is reasonably priced and servings size are plenty. We ordered chicken and steak entree but the Mac and cheese app was probably our favorite.

The building is very unsuspecting from the outside and opens up to a bar and a nice/semi-formal (and family friendly) dining area. Cozy with lots of open windows for a nice view of the river and plenty of outdoor seating which is probably great when its not February! The food was an even better surprise – without a doubt the most incredible chicken sandwich I have ever had. Prices were pretty reasonable and you can feed the ducks for $3 right outside.
