This is a old time watering hole where everybody knows everybody, giving you a feeling much like “Cheers” as they often call your name upon entering. It opens early (3pm)and closes early(10pm) Sat 11am -6 pm. Beer and wine only, but it is the coldest beer you will ever drink.Great place to get to know people as they are all locals. If you are looking for fancy…this ain’t it. If you are looking for down home good folks…. you found it !

EXCELLENT HOT DOG!!! Stopped to get 2 dogs, to go. Certainly impressed with them and the friendly service. Look forward to coming back and enjoying a cold beer at the quaint bar.

These people were so friendly.
We were in town for a funeral service and had a bunch of people head to the bar and they just took care of us. It was great. If just want a little place to get a cold one, great place for that!

At 4 p.m. on saturday, everything else was closed in Newberry. Was leaving town and saw the Bubba’s beer on the side of building. Knew this was the place. They are dog friendly, ice cold beer, and friendly folks. We probably stayed too long, but had a great time. Make sure to stop

I was on a business trip in the area with my co-worker who heard Bubba’s was the place to go for cold beer and great atmosphere. Bubba’s was nothing short of spectacular! Very nice people, “Ms. Shorty” was tending bar that night and made us feel like family. Bubba’s is unique, authentic, and historical. Shorty made sure we each got a Bubba’s beer cozy to take home as a functional souvenir. I hope to get back to Bubba’s again on my next trip to South Carolina!
