Lovely restaurant in a perfect spot overlooking the marina. There was a varied menu, with plenty of choices. The steak was delicious and cooked, as requested, medium rare. The fish pie was tasty and filling although the veggies were just a bit too ‘al dente’ for me. Nice choice of puddings – very generous portions of crumble! Prices were what you’d expect for a restaurant of this caliber and would be a good destination for a special occasion. There also plenty of free parking available close by.

Went for food here on a Thursday night, warm welcome, great atmosphere and friendly staff with great service. The menu had plenty of choice for my wife who is celiac. I went for the burger and it was brilliant with big chips and had a mac n cheese on the side which was tasty. Overall was a great meal and will definitely be back again.

I know everywhere is better in the sunshine but the upper deck at Martha’s was amazing. The whole place is superbly presented. Clean and attractive with nice design touches. The staff were plentiful and very cheerful. The food was excellent. We had small plates of moules and prawn sandwich. More than enough for lunch. Drinks were great, with an excellent beer choice. In a perfect world maybe more than three white wines by the glass? Perhaps that me being too picky. Overall we had a great visit and since the in-laws now live locally we may well return

Really lovely place . Great food. Lovely staff members . Only fault.., they’d ran out of lobster…do only one of our table could have it. But that tells you… really popular place!

Lovely spot with great views. Had dinner. It was busy so there was a 45min wait for food. Food was lovely. Nice staff. Overall a good experience.

We enjoyed a delicious meal sat outside looking out over the waterfront. Food came out only 10 minutes after ordering so barely had time to use the facilities and take a sip of our drinks. Annoyingly, we were directed to get our own cutlery when the waitress brought the food.

Great little find. Had oysters and black pudding scotch egg followed by fresh local lobster. It all tasted great and the outdoor seating overlooking the harbour was a perfect setting. Wine was reasonably priced and tasted delicious. Recommended.

Lobster came out cold after my fries. By the time the lobster came the fries were also cold.
It was very chewy and dry, awful presentation and a splodge of thick sauce on only one half of the lobster.
Considering the price the standard was extremely poor.
The lasagne lacked flavour and was very poorly cooked.
Warm wine, the glasses and some of the cutlery was dirty.
On the plus the location is great but unfortunately the food was really bad and ruined our evening as it was my birthday.
Came here a few years ago and had wonderful experience and couldn’t fault anything.
Very disappointing this time around.

Lovely place to have a meal. The only thing we didn’t like was, when we finished our starter, they brought the main meal straight out? It would have been nice if they had waited twenty minutes or so, but apart from that, it was fantastic.
