Let’s start off by saying they were extremely slow and other people were waiting for their ice cream. I didn’t matter, though my daughter is five years old and I was waiting for her ice cream so that’s OK. That being said we finally got the chocolate ice cream. I noticed it was a kind of light after receiving it. My daughter tasted it right there in the store and she did not like it and it does not taste like chocolate. Not the chocolate you would think chocolate taste like that being said I told the young lady behind the counter. Is there possible to get a different ice cream? My daughter did not like it. She said did she try it? I said, of course she just took a little taste of it right here. That’s how she knew. She did not like it and I tried it myself and it does not taste like chocolate she said unfortunately because you tried it, they cannot give you money back or exchange. I never asked for money back. I asked for an exchange terrible customer service terrible experience. That being said if you’re gonna get some ice cream from here, make sure your child tries it out first because they have no people skills. So for that just to say hey yes here goes a new ice cream would’ve been a lot easier than me coming here to make a review for you guys. It’s not worth it. That being said once again, make sure your child tries the ice cream get a sample before purchasing anything from this place.

I found a fruit fly in my salchipapas. When I went to tell the lady at the register (since I had ordered to go), she just grabbed it and ran to the back without saying a word. Then a guy came out and told me they would remake it (which I didn’t want) then denied it was a fly and insisted it was part of the fry itself. The whole situation felt dismissive and unprofessional. I really just wanted a refund but that wasn’t going to happen since they didn’t give many choice but to remake the food.

Very welcoming and colorful ice cream shop. The owner was very helpful on helping me decide what to get. I ended up getting a fruit water which was amazing, a mix of apples, milk, and strawberries. I got an Esquite which consists of corn in a cup mixed with lime juice, chili powder, and cheese bits. The last thing I got was a chamoyada, the best in my opinion, it was a thick mango smoothie mix with chili powder, a mango slice, and topped with a tamarind candy straw. Definitely coming back.

Finally found another hidden gem!! Yummy yum icecreams and other savoury items.. i tried their horchata its 10/10.. and crazy corn cup was sooo filling, tasty & delicious.. .. icecreams are fresh and flavorful.. i tried their unique chamango and fruit cocktail its one of their best item.. they have lot of items in their menu. Definitely a must try place for mexican treats and icecreams…❤️❤️

Best ice cream shop I’ve been to. Keep your eyes out for their ice cream trucks too, and try the gansito (which is a chocolate strawberry Mexican cake ice cream, absolutely delightful)! Martha was incredibly sweet and they have a reward system too (little popsicle). Hoping to see one in Newark in the future but it’s definitely worth the half hour drive and right by a bowling alley and shopping plaza!

Great customer service!! They sell “Esquites” (corn in a glass with mayo, lemon, chili and powder cheese) it actually sounded weird to me but I can assure you it tastes phenomenal!!! I loved the flan with liquid caramel too!!
