Give this place a try!! Martha Jane’s manages to achieve the unattainable combination of high quality, great selection, good service, large portions, and low prices. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely incredible. I got the smothered hash browns with two types of sausage and could barely finish the meal….but it was so delicious that I had to. I don’t know how they’re going to stay in business with food this good and prices so reasonable, but I hope they do because I will be stopping by anytime I’m even close to Monticello.

5 stars isn’t enough for this little diner! One of the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The portions are HUGE and the food was delicious! You will NOT leave hungry! They are big supporters of us in Law Enforcement and the staff made us feel like family. I can’t recommend this place enough!!! It is definitely a must try!

Great breakfast. First time I have had salmon and eggs since I was a kid. Prices are good. Food is slow to come out from the kitchen but it is all cooked to order. No reheated food.

If you love Southern cuisine, Martha Jane’s will not disappoint! These people know what’s up! The food is delicious, and the portions are more than large! The prices are more than reasonable. You could have a modest breakfast for under $5! We asked for a large coffee to go and received a styrofoam cup that I would estimate to have been somewhere over 32 oz!! What?! Yes!!! It had me going all day AND wrecked my sleep too! That’s what I’m talking about! Yes caffeine! If you believe Southern = gravy, you’d be right! We ordered the hash brown plate or casserole… It was enough for two meals for me. I don’t know how my husband was able to eat all that in one sitting! Delicious.
