Excellent! Food and service were both spot on. Lovely atmosphere. Big windows looking out on the street. Modern but still cozy and comfortable. We couldn’t get last minute dinner reservations so we came for brunch instead. Our favorite dish was the scallops appetizer. Very nice way to start the day. We will be back! (Note on price, We did it up with several courses, cocktails, wine, coffee. I’m sure you could get out the door for a lot less than we paid per person and still be very satisfied.)

Absolutely wonderful service and the food is out of this world. We had the Caesar and arugula salads with the Bronzino and Tenderloin and all were phenomenal. Cocktails were perfectly made, interesting and delicious. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac disease and indicated they were able to modify most dishes to be gluten free outside of the pastas and tuna crudo appetizer. We loved the entire experience and will absolutely be back.

I came here for the menu that seemed very lovely. But the restaurant’s food was an absolute delight. I recommend the mussels, and the short rib pasta! The bartender is very knowledgeable and seems to love expressing their own knowledge within drink service. Now our server, Anthony is a total delight, and made the entire experience. I hope everyone gets to experience this place once, and if you can, ask for Anthony. We definitely will be back.

Been meaning to get to Marta for some time and it did not disappoint. Very good range of cocktails that were unique but not excessive. The food was exceptional, including a crispy chicken marsala and slow cooked duck leg. Awesome vibe inside and quiet enough to have great conversation.

Marta is a gorgeous gem in Baltimore, perfect for a date night or an intimate family dinner. The menu is seasonal and delicious, though very heavy – a good place to share plates! The wine list has some excellent, if pricey, Italian bottles and the cocktails have always been incredible. The true star of Marta is the service – attentive, thoughtful, and community first this is a place you can enter for the food and stay for the friends you made at the bar. That’s what we did!!

I’ve never had a bad experience at Marta’s. The Caprese Martini was great. We had scallops, carbonara, and filet which were all fantastic. The only downside to this place is that the food is so good you’ll want to order the same thing every time you go, but I promise it’s worth it to explore the menu.

Marta is one of our favorite spots in Baltimore, and our most recent experience brought it even higher on our list! Our server, Anthony, was warm and personable and made us feel welcomed even during a busy Valentine’s Day service. He had great recommendations for both food and drink—the Filet Rossini and special pistachio mascarpone dessert were my personal highlights and we can’t wait to come back soon!

Between a bottle of wine, appetizers, and entrées, our bill came to about $200. Sadly, both the food and service fell short of expectations. For the same price, there are plenty of places that offer a more memorable experience in both flavor and hospitality.

Sunday Birthday Brunch date June 2025 with a few of my favs! It appears to be in a quaint & quiet neighborhood on a corner. We had reservations for 11:00 AM and the crowd was light. It wasn’t packed to capacity with a bustling line out the door like a lot of these brunch places can be.
We tried a few things but starting off with their freshly brewed coffee alone, we knew we were in for some good eats, the coffee by itself was just so fresh & good.
We knew this would blow our minds so we ordered just one for the table to share, the Lemon Ricotta Pancake Soufflé, everyone said they only wanted a tiny piece to keep room for our full meal but bay-bee, once we dug in, it was over, it was amazing!!! We all kept piecing off of it until it was gone, which did not take long at all between 4 people, it was the perfect combination of flavors, even with the warm drizzled syrup it was still not overly sweet, you’ve got to try it.
For entrees we ordered Eggs in Purgatory (X2), Eggs Benedict, Campanelle Zafferano & a Caesar Salad. Everything was cooked to perfection, we all had an opportunity to taste a little of everything and not one complaint at the table. Out hostess was very nice, being our very first time, he was patient and answered all of our questions and offered up his best suggestions as well. So happy to have had this experience, will be back to try more of their delightful dishes.
