We had a fantastic dinner at Marrakesh. Service all around was fantastic, everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. For food, we loved the lamb Atlas Tangia, which is presented from a clay pot. The chicken bastilla pastry entree was also delicious and had very unique flavors! Highly recommend the mussels starter, some of the best mussels I have had in a long time! We went with the savoy cabbage as a side, based on the server recommendation, and we enjoyed this as well, as it had great flavors and balanced the richness of the lamb dish. Drinks were all solid as well.

We loved this place. The minute you walk in, you are treated with warmth and importance. The staff is well trained and they are there to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. The dishes are well portioned, with flavors well balanced, and none were overpowering. The meats were tender and juice, the seafood on point and flavorful. The overall experience was perfect, we never felt rushed, the table was always clean, and the meals were always warm. The whole atmosphere is very middle eastern, and I was transported to Morocco. The chef Asir came by, and made our experience lovely. My wife and I felt we were with friends and family, complete unbelievably experience!
Thank you

Wonderful decor inside. Definitely not a pirate bar anymore. Beautiful lattice separating the seating. Low seating could be an issue for people who have issues getting up and down from low chairs. The menu isn’t super transparent and I found it a bit confusing. There were a lot of chicken options. I do not eat chicken and wish I knew that before. The tea is sold by the pot and its not like other resturant where you get free hot water over your old tea leaves. They charge for a whole pot refill!! Not typical. Not your traditional menu selections. I ordered the lamb tajin and it had tiny bones. I was not expecting the tiny bones and almost broke my tooth on one. They serve just normal french bread. Clean tables and seats. Staff was very kind. Restrooms were the same as they were when the bar was here. Definitely worth trying once but not a weekly go out location. There is also limited parking around the building but parking available across the street. I overheard the staff saying the owner does belly dancing! Although I did not witness it.

This place is the real deal! It has a great ambience, a truly unique feel, and the food is incredible! I tried some lamb dishes, along with a chicken dish, and it was fantastic food. The lamb came right off the bone and was cooked to perfection. Also have the meatballs with bread as an appetizer, and that was a great starter. Most importantly, the ownership and service is incredible. Fouad And his team are extremely hospitable, and they are able to Give you recommendations in depth like I have never heard before. We sat at the bar and it was great! World class establishment – Highly recommend!

Fantastic new Moroccan restaurant! Perfect for a romantic date night, after work appetizers & drinks or to even chill at the bar and catch a good soccer game. Authentic recipes, high quality food and an incredibly talented classically trained French & Moroccan chef. Very welcoming! Try the mussels, they are unbelievably delicious! Great drink menu too.

Absolutely delicious Moroccan food with rich, authentic flavors and beautiful presentation. Every dish we tried was excellent. At this place, it truly feels like you’re transported to Morocco, thanks to the authentic décor from the lamps and decorative dividers to the colors and overall setting. The service was just as great: friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Big shout out to the owners, Fouad and Aziz, for running such a fantastic place. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Indianapolis in a while.
Started with a Moroccan-spiced Bloody Mary—really nicely layered with warm spices, not overly salty, real depth of flavor. The Tajine Mussels were excellent, and when they were out of the Bastilla (busy night before — good sign), we pivoted to the Atlas Tangia. That slow-cooked lamb in the clay pot was phenomenal… Finished with the Saffron Chocolate Mousse and mint tea.
Family-owned, clearly cooking from real tradition + French/italian-trained chef (former chef of Anthony’s in Carmel), and the service matched the quality of the food. This place is a gem. We’ll be back.

Wow! Loved our evening at Marrakesh. Our waiter Andrew was wonderful…making sure we were happy. The owners served us the Moraccan sweet tea. And the food was such a treat. My husband ordered the Moraccan version of Spanish rice and I ordered the chicken skewers (I’m in not quite as adventurous). I also ordered thee eggplant on the side..yum. To polish off the wonderful meal…we ordered the chocolate mouse with our tea. We can hardly wait to return. Don’t be afraid to try the wine too. Can’t wait to return to try the sea bass

Oh my gosh!!!! We couldn’t have loved a dining experience more. We had the mussels (must get the sauce!), salads, garbanzo beans, chicken bastilla, lamb shank and many cocktails. We met the chef, owner and had the remarkable Mirra as our server.
This was just so beautiful, delicious and enjoyable. We cannot wait to come back!!!
Do not miss this brilliant new addition to indianapolis.

I have been waiting for this place to open for months! I tried the apricot turmeric spritz, marina salad, harira soup, lamb tajine, zaalouk, chocolate mousse, and the tea. Everything was great, but highlights were the lamb tajine and the tea service. The lamb fell off the bone and the flavor was a mix of sweet and spicy. I’ll be back for more of that. The tea service was a lovely way to finish out the meal. The owner, chef, and server were all helpful and very friendly. Thrilled to have this place in the neighborhood.
