Considering the portion sizes, this is one of the most affordable places I’ve eaten in quite some time. The chicken plate was just under 13 after tax, full with rice, a small salad, and 4 slices of pita loaf. I ordered sauce, but frankly, the food didn’t need it as it was already perfectly seasoned. Would definitely recommend for lunch, and I’ll be adding this to my list of local favorites!

I don’t typically do these kinds of reviews but I am concerned for customers safety in Smyrna, TN. We ordered dinner here tonight like we have done literally 50+ times over the last several years. This has been our favorite gyro place in town for a while and I have always had great food and great service, until tonight. As I ate my portion (we always split a mixed platter amongst our kids and ourselves because it’s a lot of food) I bit into something hard that poked my tongue. I spat out the food and there was a piece of metal in the bite I had taken. I called the restaurant, thinking they would want to know and double check the food and also in case anyone else called about the same thing. The man who answered the phone listened to me tell him what happened and then just hung up. Did not say a single thing other than his initial greeting of “Maro’s Gyros” and that’s all. Nothing. I fed this food to my children. Even my two year old. I have never been so disrespected by a restaurant in my life. I did not ask for a refund or to speak with a manager, I just simply wanted to let them know what happened. So Smyrna residents, take note. This place is not safe! We will never order from here again. Ridiculous!

I have been living here for a few years now, and I can honestly say Maro’s Gyros is one of the best Mediterranean spots I’ve ever tried. The food is beyond delicious,fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned every single time. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
On top of that, the customer service is outstanding. The guys working here are always friendly, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.

Great customer service! Food was good and a lot in portion, they even had a special where you buy a cheesecake and get a free drink. Cheesecake is only 2.99 so it really is a free drink, no crazy price that has you basically paying for it in the price. Food was great !!

I had such a wonderful experience at this Greek restaurant! The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. I ordered the gyro plate and it was perfectly seasoned the meat was tender, the pita soft, and the sauce was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. You can tell everything is made with care and authenticity. Definitely one of the best Greek meals I’ve had. I’ll be coming back soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Located next to Kroger in Smyrna on Sam Ridley. This is a great spot with helpful employees, clean and spacious environment, and delicious food.
We ordered the basics (shrimp and gyro salad, gyro wrap, and gyro plate.. as well as falafel) – it was all really good. Our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering and there’s ample seating. We’ll definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place the food is amazing. I always do pick ups and I have never had a complaint about anything they always put everything I order never have I ever had something missing on my order. I definitely 100% recommend this place. The food is full of amazing flavors
