Just found this place and have been here 3 times the past two weeks. I’ve had the curry goat, curry chicken and oxtail. All three were delicious. They absolutely stuff the togo container, the medium was enough for two meals for me.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and the food was delicious, featuring authentic Jamaican cuisine. However, they were out of a few items on the menu. I specifically ordered fried chicken, but when I arrived, it was unavailable. Despite this issue, I would still rate the food 4 stars.

This was our first time visiting, and we got the curry goat dinner and the oxtail dinner. It was so good! My husband doesn’t normally finish everything on his plate, but he couldn’t resist. The food was so fresh and flavorful, best Jamaican food I’ve had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even bringing over a sample of the house made non-alcoholic sorel! We ate in, which made the wait a bit longer as there were multiple take out orders, but otherwise it was a really great experience. I also bought a chicken curry patty with coco bread for lunch today

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Starting with the food: we had oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. The oxtail was so tender and flavorful, and together with the sides it was a delicious meal. We split a small order of Ackee and saltfish, on a bed of white rice with cabbage and plantains. Again, the flavors were awesome and I felt like the saltiness did not overpower the dish. Finally, I had a spicy beef patty and coco bread. The coco bread was so soft and fluffy, and the patty was deliciously spicy. Complimenting all this was the sorrel, which I had with me the rest of the day. It was so refreshing but has a bite of ginger to keep it interesting. To-go, we got an order of black cake, which was a great pair to some red wine later in the day. Beyond the food, I enjoyed talking to the owner, who told me some histories of Jamaica and about her own travels. Everyone there was so friendly, and you can really tell it is a community-oriented spot. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

The food portion continues to get smaller and smaller. Received 4 pieces of Oxtail in a large order.

Omg the oxtail was beyond this world. Wish I had ordered the Large portion. Meat sooooooo tendered. The perfect seasoning for my palate. Loved it! Need to try the ackee, and fish next time too.
Service was amazing. Very friendly worker who was there today
Definitely going back soon

Place smells great as soon as you walk in. Service was good, Norris was my server. And the portion size is nice. Can’t wait to dig in!
Update: The food was okay, but a little lacking in flavor, especially the vegetable. If it wasn’t for the oxtail gravy on the rice, it would’ve been a bit under seasoned as well. I didn’t mind the oxtail, and it was tender. And the plantains were nice.

1) great atmosphere and roomy. Very clean inside and aesthetically pleasing to the eye
2) I got white rice and curry chicken. The food was delicious but the curry chicken had so many little bones I couldn’t really enjoy it. I only got a couple of pieces of chicken. I ate more skin of the chicken over actual meat.
3) price for a large was $20 and seemed a little steep for no oxtail. Other places I can get the same amount for $14/$16.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but if I’m close I would eat her again and be satisfied. Maybe skip the curry chicken and try something else.

Most of the food items were not available and they had several more hours to be opened. Disappointed because I wanted to support another black owned business while visiting the town. The Mac and cheese was old and my son throw away almost all his food.

I was so excited to get Jamaican food but quickly regretted the decision.
The service was top notch with the warm greetings by both the cashier and the person who might have been the chef.
The food looked great especially with the portion but the fish was old. Not spoiled but old. It was hard and felt as if it had been cooked at least 24 hours before.
I would’ve waited more time for a fresh fry. The sauce/seasoning was good but that’s it. Disappointed I spent what I did to get old food.
