I rarely give 5 star reviews but when my server is NAMED Star, well….WOW! This place was amazing. We had the feta app, the bang bang shrimp and the in-house pb dessert. ALL of it (drinks too!) was fantastical! I will definitely be back…WITH friends and family. Thank you Marma and mostly STAR for making this a most incredible night out! Yummmmorama!!! ❤️

My wife and I recently had dinner at Marma in Lake Elmo, and it was a memorable evening. The restaurant has a warm, upscale feel without trying too hard — stylish but still comfortable enough for a relaxed dinner together. It’s the kind of place where you immediately notice the attention to detail.
The food was excellent. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Portions were balanced, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and well-executed. We enjoyed our meal from start to finish.
That said, Marma is definitely on the pricier side. You’re paying for quality, ambiance, and a refined dining experience — and for us, it was worth it, but it’s good to know going in. This isn’t your casual weeknight stop; it’s more of a special-occasion dinner or a night out when you want to treat yourselves.
Overall, we had a wonderful evening. Great service, great food, and a beautiful setting. We’ll be back — not every week, but certainly when we’re in the mood for something special.

What a great place in Lake Elmo! Will definitely be coming again and bringing friends.
Had Star as our server and she was lovely. I got a Pillow Talk drink and it was so great – definitely got me a little tipsy! I also got a glass of wine with my meal (which was great). My husband ordered a Ganesha NA drink and he liked it.
We started with the Elote Brussels and it was so good. We wanted more. Great elote flavors, refreshing and brussels were cooked perfect. My husband got the Ribeye and absolutely raved about it. The watermelon salsa was a surprise hit and complimented perfectly. Steak cooked great, sauce great – just great. I got the Walleye and ate every bite. So good, refreshing for summer and so much flavor.
Dessert was creme brulee and it was great! Perfect vanilla flavor and you could add on the flavors on the side if you wish.
Cozy atmosphere, definitely a great place with 2 couples, have a drink at the bar before dinner. Could watch some sports, but higher end than a sports bar. Highly recommend!
$166 with tip for all of this, which I think is a good deal.

Had an amazing holiday dinner here last night! Our server Kristin was top notch and had great recommendations. Our starter was the whipped Feta which was sooo good. Only recommendation here would be serve with more Pita and maybe some sliced olive on the side. I had the Ribeye with a beautiful crust and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Topped with chimichurri over potatoes and a bright tomato salsa I would highly recommend this dish. My other half had the Filet and it was deliciously seasoned and savory dish. 10/10 and will be back! Thanks!

I can’t recommend highly enough. Not exactly inexpensive, but so worth it. We’ve eaten here several times now. Each entree was amazing. Craft cocktails are great. Meals served quickly and wait staff works well together to help each other out. Make it one of your regular stops!

Ordered most of the items on the patio menu – nothing to write home about. The prices were a bit high for the portion sizes. My friends enjoyed their desserts and my favorite menu item was the fries with pesto aioli! Wings had nice flavor but the meat was dry and they were a bit over charred. Slider meat was also dry but other ingredients on the sliders compensated for it. Positive reviews on the cocktails. Shout out to our server Scotty for five star service!

Visited this venue for the first time and the host was very pleasant, she/he/they/them….seated us and immediately said we had our table for 1 1/2 hrs.
I didn’t think too much of it until we ordered a starter and within minutes it was delivered to our table, while we were still eating the starter… bam! the salads arrived, before we could finish our salads the main course arrived.
This service felt extremely rushed, our server did not do a good job spacing the orders or maybe this is how they roll…try to filp as many customers in and out as fast as possible….
It is a small space and the price is steep ($150 for two entrées, two salads, one starter before tip). You would think they would allow you time have a little more relaxed experience.
That said, I do intend to revisit b/c the food was good and there is more on the short menu that I’d like to try. However, when I do go back, I’ll have to ask the server to tone the pace of the orders down so I don’t feel like I need to scarf the food down.
