We came in rather late this evening, the grill had shut down and the chef was getting ready to leave for the night. The bar was still open, but we had really hoped for more. The chef offered to stay and made us burgers and salads. He could have left without dealing with us at all since the bar was still open, but he generously stated and attended to our group of 3. The staff overall was very attentive and friendly, plus the food and drinks were excellent!!!

First impressions are everything. My wife and I went for the first time, my wife had the Ruben which was not bad but I got the clam roll. This however was way over done to the point the breading was dark brown and chewy like a rudder band, the fries were soggy with grease. Was extremely disappointed with something that should be the easiest of things to make. With this said, the staff and service was very friendly and was there at a moments notice.

Mark’s Spinach Salad has been my favorite since he was on Main Street in Glastonbury! The Celery Seed dressing is amazing and worth the calories (although a secret recipe, he says the mustard is low fat)! He is always there to greet you and takes great pride in his food. He prepares everything fresh. It was my first time at his new venue in Marlborough and he showed me the fun lighting at the large cozy bar area. There is plenty of parking and the location is very convenient. This was an unsolicited review because of his awesome spinach salad! So glad he kept it on the menu (which was very fancy, with lots of daily interesting specials).

My friend and I went for dinner late one Friday. We didn’t think the kitchen would be open but they got our order in (likely when they would’ve been cleaning up). Since it was very slow they played whatever music we liked for the rest of our dinner. The team is wonderful and this place has a great atmosphere!

Went as a family, had a bad experience.
Drinks: touted as an upscale restaurant I was not expecting to have beers in a can delivered, I had to ask for a glass, and then another one for my second beer.
Appetizer: ordered the chips and guacamole; a handful of decent chips was served. The guacamole and other sides were served in half full PLASTIC portion cups, again upscale place should take pride in presentation.
Dinner: two burgers, pita rabbit & penne. Penne was great! Pita was exceptionally dry, when we asked for salsa due to being dry we were charged two dollars for another PLASTIC portion cup of salsa.
Both burgers were not seasoned at all and over cooked. The side were few chips and another plastic container of coleslaw.
For well over a hundred dollars I’d rather go next door to China sea.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Soup and fish were bland. First time and agree with Rob, so wanted to give a 5. We need more than pizza here.
