Mark’s Feedstore on Shelbyville Road is a nice addition and adds variety to the offerings of a lot of chain restaurants in Middletown, KY.
On my recent visit, I enjoyed a rib combo which included baby back ribs, brisket, wings, potato salad, green beans and corn muffin. Everything was hot and delicious but my favorite items were the ribs, wings and potato salad, which brought back memories of backyard picnic fare!
Their prices are reasonable and they offer both dine-in and carry-out meal service.

Staff was friendly helpful from the moment I walked in. Service moved fast with good energy. Food landed mixed. Honey wings were rough. Ribs tasted fine, but forgettable. Pork came out dry. Brisket came out dry. Everything was edible. Nothing wowed.
I would not make a return trip. Stronger BBQ spots sit closer. Good effort solid service average food.

The ribs were so good, they feel off the bone and tasted delicious with a spicy kick! Overall, best ribs I have ever had! You can buy merch inside the store itself! I really recommend the ribs, they are so good, along with the sweet potato fries! Very recommended food place to eat at! When you are on a trip to Middletown, try this place out. This will be my idol restaurant to eat at in Simpsonville!

The food was ok, service was good and atmosphere was good. We ordered the lite version of the brisket and the Smokehouse salad with pulled pork. The lite version was definitely lite and the salad did not have much pulled pork. Aside from portion size, the barbecue was not sauced (not a big deal as they had 2 choices at the table) but more disappointing was that it was rather dry.

This restaurant was great! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. It was our first time in and our waiter explained the popular meals. As someone with a peanut and tree nut allergy, they were accommodating and mindful. We will definitely be back.

Our waitress, Paige, was fantastic. We had a table full of children and she never skipped a beat and0 making sure we had everything. Manager also stopped by twice to check in on things. Food was great. We always like their fried corn on the cob and their onion straws as sides.

Before you enter this Mark’s, make sure to take your picture with the pigs and post on social media to get some free stuff. I ordered the Bird-in-a-Nest appetizer, the Combo Rib Dinner #1, and a Buttermilk Crunch dessert. The appetizer was incredible and I would definitely order again. The Honeywings are flavorful and juicy, and the onion straws with sauce tie it all together. For the combo dinner, the ribs are fantastic and fall right off the bone as advertised. The brisket and pork were pretty dry, but were better when drenched in the BBQ sauces on the table. The toast and wings were good. The fries are tasty, but I didn’t love the corn. It’s fried, which is interesting, but lacks flavor. I’d like to try the Barnyard style to see if it improves things. The Buttermilk Crunch dessert was fantastic! All the desserts are ice cream glasses, which I wasn’t expecting, but was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Tim was a fantastic server. He provided excellent suggestions and checked on us regularly. He was always ready with a refill, and his service was the highlight of my visit.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were checked on by several employees, including the manager, but in a subtle, unobtrusive way. The atmosphere was cute but not overdone. The portions were plentiful. The food was good, but not the best barbecue I’ve ever had.

Love it. Cute little spot. Prices are great! Def a place where locals and families can go. I went on a weekday during lunch. Quick Serivce. I saw business people , families there.
