Hubby and I stopped in here to eat on our way back home to Illinois. He ordered a pork tenderloin and I believe fries, and I had a cheeseburger and fries. The service was great! Our waitress was friendly and prompt. When our food arrived shortly after our arrival, we were both impressed. He said his pork tenderloin sandwich was the best he’s had in quite a while, and my cheeseburger was excellent as well. The bun for my burger was buttery and grilled to perfection! My cheeseburger was made from fresh ground beef and tasted really, really good! In fact, the cheeseburger was the best I have had in quite a while, too! Even the fries were great!
I definitely recommend this mom and pop restaurant! It’s about an hour drive from us, and the food was so good that my husband and I have decided that on occasion we will make that hour drive just to eat there. Yes, it really is worth that drive!

First we had to wait to be acknowledged so we sat ourselves and asked for a menu the waitress was sweet but not familiar enough with the menu to answer questions correctly, i asked for a ribeye sandwich rare after they cooked it well done i was informed that thats the only way they can cook it. Then i had to get the waitress attention for refills and ahe never checked on us, she kept disappearing in the back,and she was on her phone while chewing gum constantly. I ordered mild wings with blue cheese and i received ranch, then she had to check to see if they even had blue cheese. This was My second time at this restaurant the first visit was waaay better unfortunately there will not be a third visit, sorry.

This is a tough one to write. We arived at 11 and things were busy. Our pizza did not get to the table untill about 12:05. We saw some other tables change twice! Most of the servers were obously hustling. Not ours. The pizza when we got it was very good and most of the food we saw looked great. Finnaly out at 12:45.

We ordered the off menu, double buffalo burger, with fries. Fantastic, should be the featured item. Well worth a drive to Morganfield, to this delight. Great service too.

Manager was very unfriendly and allowed her entire family of atleast 7 to come in, run all over establishment, eat for free, & leave mess and I got charged more than I shud have. Cook was awesome tho.
