What an absolute & pleasurable experience. The food is at the highest levels of deliciousness. I got the double smash burger with King bacon ! It was most definitely the bacon equivalent of royalty . We had an appetizer of griddled corn bread that left me serendipitously dazed . They have great beer they have great cocktails they have Great wine . The pork chop and palenta was extraordinary to say the least. Whent on a beautiful march Saturday and sat outside but the inside was just as nice and would be a great place to eat with family.

The wife and I had dinner on a packed Thursday night and were seated immediately with drinks on the table very quickly for as busy as they were. I had the 14 oz ribeye and the wife had short ribs. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed the dinner. We will definitely be making this one of our spots.

I ordered an over 20 dollar chicken sandwich. Smallest chicken patty ever. Its a place for salads. Great atmosphere and service. Not sure how the burgers would be with a patty like that. Fries were excellent and large portion.

The food was delicious, the inside is very modern and nice. I ordered the small Spaghetti and meatballs and my husband ordered the Four cheese lasagna.
I recommend trying the Pear Crisp for dessert!
*DO NOT sit at the corner high top table next to the window. It’s very small and uncomfortable and you will be side knee to knee with whoever is sitting next to you. We were asked to move my chair to make space for the table right behind us.
I asked the hostess if we could move to another table and that even outside would be fine, and she said there wasn’t anything available due to reservations and told us we could get put back on the waitlist, after we had already sat down and received our drinks, so we had to stick with the small table.
I feel as if the staff could have been more accommodating.

We have dined in Lodi twice, first time food and service was great had Halibut and salmon, both very good. Second time the food was fine but I ordered an Old Fashioned. So it comes out and it looks like no color, I kept staring at it, tasted it and it tastes citrus kinda lime. I call the waitress over and told her that it was not an old fashioned. I told her there was no bourbon in it. She said that it was indeed an old fashioned, she offered to have another one made . I told her not if would be the same, I told her bourbon, simple syrup, bitters , orange and luxardo make it that way. She insisted what I got is the way they make it. So I ordered an Arnold Palmer. Figured it out! They use Four Roses Bourbon, the (bartender?) used Four Roses lime juice! I’m still pissed off that the waitress got snotty with me, my wife had a manhattan, I showed her the difference, that’s what a drink with bourbon looks like! She was snotty the rest of the time we were there.

My husband and I decided to have dinner at the Market Tavern tonight we’ve never been to the one in Stockton and this was our first time having dinner at the one in Lodi that just opened and let me tell you the food was EXCELLENT!! We had soup, salad and chicken marsala. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious for dessert we had the pear crisp which was also very good. Our server Desiree was so nice and attentive. We will definitely be back again we loved it!!! Thank you Desiree for your excellent service and thank you Market Tavern for the delicious food see you soon!
