Our family-owned pizzeria is delivery or curbside only. We have a story rooted in tradition, passion, and a love for authentic, delicious food. Since its founding, our pizzeria has been a labor of love, nurtured by our desire to bring people together over a shared love of great pizza. What makes our pizzeria special isn’t just our mouth-watering dishes but the sense of community and family that we’ve cultivated over the years. We take pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients for our dishes. Every day, we shop at a local produce warehouse to hand-pick the best and freshest ingredients available. UPDATE (1 day later):
There’s the saying “don’t let your bad days define you” and our experience with Market Street Pizza certainly follows that. We recently ordered pizza from here a couple of days ago and they had gotten the order wrong which was a pretty big bummer. We left a review of our experience, not thinking much of it after we posted. To our surprise however, we got a call from Jamie the store manager of Market Street letting us know that they not only refunded the order entirely but also wanted another chance to win our business. We were shocked by the gesture and very grateful. It is rare that a business not only cares about reviews but also goes out of its way to make things right when they go wrong. Look, we are all human, mistakes happen. But what doesn’t happen (at least often) is a business has the integrity to look a customer in the eye and make things right.

We decided to take Jamie up on the offer and got another pizza and this time it was significantly better. The crust was far less doughy, the cheese was perfect, and the sauce was still good. Far, far better pizza, enough so that we would come back for it. The biggest takeaway from all this is that if you value good small businesses who practice business the right way and ethically then this is the spot for you. Thank you Market Street for being a standup business.

OLD: We had high hopes for Market Street Pizza after seeing very good reviews and a few videos on it. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Before we get into anything, it’s takeout or delivery only, which is fine but makes the experience feel a bit like ordering from Domino’s, especially when they outsource their delivery to DoorDash.

We chose to get it delivered and we called in to order an XL half plain, half mushrooms and onion pie and an order of cheesy bread. We must’ve said half plain at least 5 times as well as getting the order read verbally back to us. Despite this the pizza arrived as half onion, half mushroom. Incredibly disappointing to not get the order right, especially after waiting almost an hour for it to arrive and paying $38 for everything. The pizza itself was okay, the crust was pretty chewy and tough but the sauce was good. The cheese was nothing special. Honestly, the cheesy bread was better than the pizza. It was soft and cheesy and went very well with the marinara and ranch dipping sauces.

Ultimately, between a botched order, an hour long wait, and paying $38 for an XL pizza and some cheesy bread; it is very safe to say we won’t be coming back. We will just stick to Homeslice since it remains the best we’ve had in Austin so far.

Wow.
I had the Italian Panuozzo and damn the raves about it are justified.
Bread made in house, same dough they use for the pizza, house sliced deli meat, and fresh mozzarella.
The owner, Dave, slices the meats to perfection. Super thin, shaved ham. The bread is perfect for the size of this sandwich. It holds the contents with ease, but isn’t too “bready”, again proportion is dialed in.
For me, the fair price is a bonus. I mainly want to be left amazingly happy with my eating experience. But for $12.95, he’s giving this sandwich away. I would be satisfied getting half this portion for the price. So get it as is while you can.
Dave, the owner, also came out to hand me my sandwich, asked how I liked it, and was overall very nice and engaging with his new customer and my experience. I could tell he was proud of his craft and wanted to maintain a level of customer satisfaction.

I’ll be back to try some other things, but the Pannuozzo has me hooked already.

We got the Italian Panuozzo & the Turkey Panuozzo and can we say hands down THE BEST!!! The size of them are 100% the price which is average $12 per and they are huge it practically became my lunch and dinner. They taste authentic and can we add the staff is the absolute best! We drove from south Austin up to north just for it and would do it again! Must try and recommend them to everyone I know!

Probably my favorite Italian sandwich (panuozzo) I’ve had in Austin (used to go to homeslice but this is closer and the bread is way better here) will try the pizza next time and if it’s the same dough i bet it will be insane

Second visit!

This time we got mortadella panuozzo and garlic cheese bread (got marinara, ranch and they added jalaleno ranch for us to try) and every single food was so freaking good we’ve abandoned all other pizza and Italian sandwich places

Also to add their ranch is insane I will be going back to try their wings and pasta

The service was really quick. The owner came out and brought my pizzas. Very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in how I liked the pizza. We ordered the cheese bread, taco pizza (we are from the midwest always love a good taco pizza) and the meat lovers. Everything was very good. We enjoyed it. Added a few things to our taco pizza doritos and sour cream but so good! We will be back!

First this place is CLOSED for walk in. You have to order ahead. We didnt know that, showed up and had to wait 40 minutes to get our order.

Other than that, the food we got was good. The sandwiches are MASSIVE. They are very heavy handed on the raw red onion. So ask for lite unless you want a ton of them in your food.

Ill go back, ill order ahead. Market Street pizza is a 4.5 out of 5.

Would give 10 STARS if I could!!! We got the panuoozos which were only $12 ea for massive portions of meats, cheese, and more (see pics) with fresh bread thats hand-sliced and crisp on the outside and spongy on the inside. Could only finish half they were so big (and we were starving) – saving the other half for dinner. Amazing flavor profile- Market Street Pizza is now a weekly must-have for us. Also, the owner is a great guy and brought the order out personally for the curb-side pickup. He was excited and wanted me to open the box and see what was inside it while he was there and I was mind-blown. He has much to be proud of- support local and check this place out!

Ok, I’m late doing this review only because I was distracted with work and then totally forgot to post, BUT, it impacted me enough to come back and give a review. First off, can I say the owner was the person that brought out the pizza and asked if I had eaten there before. This was my first time to do so, so he began to explain how they make the dough which is a secret recipe but that he lets it sit for days to allow it to fully mature and only then does he use it. Second, they use only fresh ingredients not the cheap stuff that you get from other places that makes your stomach bloat. This was the equivalent of a NYC pizza. It was bursting with flavor. Can I say I didn’t have one ounce of guilt eating pizza for lunch that day. First time I’ve done that in over 15yrs! Last thing I want to mention is I always want to give the small mom and pop places my business as they really need the support from the community to continue to give us the best possible product that the chain pizzerias just don’t do. Like letting the dough rest for days. The longer that dough rests the better the crust. Over all I would give this pizza an 8.8 out of 10. Give them a shot, you definitely won’t be disappointed! -Pete

The pizza was really good! Very affordable and quick pickup time. The owner was super sweet and we’re looking forward to coming back to try out the sandwiches. If you’re reading this, don’t hesitate just try it, it’s worth it! We definitely found our go-to pizza place.

Panuozo is amazing, massive sandwich. Got the Italian, half the sandwich was over a pound. Not kidding, threw it on a scale!! Wife got the chicken Alfredo which was delicious and a massive portion asking well. The food is great, service is friendly and more importantly in these times, it’s a good value for your buck. They only offer take out, which is only curbside, no entry to restaurant. Will be trying mor menu items for sure.
