The salads and crab cakes were worthy of a chef’s kiss. I think all of the sauces were magnificent. We tried the beef bacon and it was kind of tough but delicious and that may be just because it was beef. The wagyu steak was both cooked and seasoned perfectly. Although the lamb T-bones and whipped mashed potatoes were both very yummy they were hot (meaning heat hot not spicy). Our server Hamilton was all the good things: enthusiastic, knowledgeable, helpful.

The menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our waiter was wonderful, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. However, we asked for medium well and got medium rare filet and wagyu—but still delicious! The chile butter and bread was phenomenal! The crab cakes, mashed potatoes, and chicken and lobster macaroni and cheese weren’t anything special in my opinion. The crème brûlée we had for dessert would have been perfect if it weren’t for the abundant amount of salt crystals used to garnish it. It was incredibly salty and ruined the dessert.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff were exceptional, the food phenomenal, and the atmosphere relaxing. The staff explained how thr food was prepared and how much effort went into every piece of the meal. For instance, the French fries take 3 days to make. The sauces they have are all gluten free, which was a pleasant surprise since they were developed from classic French sauces. The steaks were divine and the sides complimented them. The drinks were very tasty too. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who can afford it. If you can get outside seating on the patio as it is nice and quiet out there. All in all, one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to

A good not-so-old-fashioned steakhouse. It’s tourist priced but I’d say it was well worth it. Cocktails are delicious and we’ll balanced. House bread comes with chili butter, which I enjoyed. I recommend the truffle fries and you get a boat load with one order. They are appropriately dank, meaning they don’t skimp on the truffle oil. Bone marrow is always nice, though it could have been a bit more on the savory side, it’s served with pickled onions and bacon jam? for balance. On to the steaks, $60 will net you a 20 oz Cowboy Ribeye. Not dry aged, just normal but it was a very nicely prepared steak. The uniform sear on the outside was impressive and made all the fatty bits nice and crispy. It was cooked EXACTLY medium as I specified. They have a lot of fun enhancements for their steaks that you can get on the side. I got chimichurri sauce myself, but they have béarnaise sauce, truffle butter, and many other options. That is what really put the steak into excellent territory, the extra flavor and customizability from the enhancements. Great for a vacation dinner or a celebration of some kind. Bill for two people was $189 before tax I believe. Props for using local ingredients when possible and making pretty much everything in-house, as they should. Staff was friendly and quite professional.

We love this place! The food is always delectable and the staff is an absolute pleasure. This is our second time here, and it was for our anniversary. We started with a cocktail, the prime tartare, and green chile mussels; followed by the special NM cut of wagyu steak and mushrooms. As always, we weren’t disappointed and will definitely be back!

We’re new to the area and finally had a chance to try Market Steer Steakhouse. It has a great atmosphere and the service was super friendly. The wine list isn’t huge but very well edited with some great options (we ordered a bottle of the 2015 Gaja).All of the dishes we ordered were great without a disappointing one in the bunch. We started with the steak tartare with beef fat crackers, moved on to the wedge salad with lots of blue cheese and bacon (house cured we understand). After that we split a 20 ounce ribeye along with roasted mushrooms and onion rings. It was great they split the salad for us in the kitchen (small split fee which is fine as we wanted to try a variety of dishes) and sliced the steak we were sharing. Always a nice touch so you’re not making a mess at the table. Highly recommend.

Greeted nicely upon check in with a friendly coat / jacket check as well. Our waiter offered us honest suggestions for both appetizers and entrées. Prices are definitely not out of line with current market price nationwide. Our party of 5 had many different dinners and they were all cooked to perfection including the medium rare steak which was cooked exactly as it supposed to be, warm and pink on the inside with a nice char on the outside. Yes, the sides are a separate price however the choices are plentiful and large enough to share with at least 3 different plates which makes it a great bargain. Dessert was excellent, and at no time we felt rushed to finish quickly and depart. I definitely recommend for all to try this restaurant.

Perfectly grilled filet mignon. Stunning & delicious lobster tail. The Chef knocks it out of the park. The hostess & wait staff are really fantastic as well. Make reservations- parking can be a issue sometimes.

We found this place on accident while in town having lunch. The menu looked great so we made reservations. It did NOT disappoint. The food was amazing. Service? Outstanding! The Standoff is a MUST! Beef bacon? Ummm, yes please! It was so good. The bone marrow was just as fabulous! We shared the porterhouse (which was still more than enough meat) and the smoked cauliflower and truffle fries. All amazing but SO much food. We could have ordered less and been fine but everything sounds so good (and is!) that we had to try. We were thrilled to find this spot and will absolutely come back when in Santa Fe again. HUGE recommendation, go make your reservations you won’t be disappointed!!
