This was a good find. We had a great evening or date night. We started with the Crab Leg,Steak, and Shrimp all you can eat buffet at Paragon casino in Marksville,LA. The best deal going was the 50+ club members could eat two for the price of one. We filled up on Prime Rib and other cuts of steak as well as crab legs and various kinds of Shrimp dishes. We capped off the dining experience with some good desserts.
The next part of our date night was a nice walk over to the alligator exhibit and a cup of hot chocolate. We then headed into the movie theater to watch Equalizer 3. We did all this for under $60( 2 for 1 buffet, $5 movie tickets, free exhibit).

Very average. A lot to pick from. Lack seasoning , so great for people with high blood pressure. Also average price I think we paided $77 with 2 adults 1 kid and tip. Probably cheaper then the steak house. The diner places had a long line. I’m sure it would have tasted better and cheaper. My best guess it would have been 20 more a legends better food ,more money. 20 less a the diner but a long wait. Next time I would just wait at the diner.

All the food was overcooked and no seasonings whatsoever
I drove almost 2 hours paid $36 and the gas to get here
Thinking it was something special
It taste like it’s out of a can and heated up
Desserts side dishes and main courses was nothing but nasty
I will NEVER spend my money here again
Lost my business
Y’all need better cooks that know how to prepare this food from scratch. ESP for the money I spent
Horrible experience
I’d rate it no stars if I could

This used to be the best casino in Louisiana! Now it has going down due to owners/managers cuts. The buffet is only on the weekend, but they accept busses every day. There’s nowhere to eat, or should I say a very limited selection. Roxy has the same stuff all day every day. The selection is smaller than a selection from McDonald’s. I feel like the sports bar is a waste of money. When they are open, the menu is limited to days and times. If you bring your food with you, there’s no microwave in the rooms any longer.

We got in line 45 minutes early. They opened 5 minutes late and there was only 1 cashier. We were maybe 15th in line and it took over 30 minutes to get seated. Half the Buffett was closed. The crab was unseasoned and cold and the rest of the food was so old and cold, literally all of it was room temp. How can a Buffett have cold food after opening up 35 minutes before we started eating? Poor quality, that’s how. I will never understand how people wait in this line for HOURS and enjoy the food. I will never go back.

Please, whoever thought it was a good idea to charge the buffet price, and then $6 for each crab cluster is out of their mind. For one, the crab is cold and small, but $6 each?!? We come to the paragon, especially for Friday night crab and play after eating, but you won’t see us again. It was already bad enough when they started minimizing the overall buffet but 20$ then add $6 for half a crab, oh don’t do it. Just don’t save that money and go somewhere else.

2/10/24 was steak and seafood. Boil shrimp hard to peel. Only fired seafood was fried catfish, no fried shrimp or any other fried seafood. Steak tasted bad. Sad excuse for a seafood buffet. Not worth the time waiting in line or the money

Ran into the issues that most people are posting about. Crawfish are being plucked too early, most of which are too small to eat or they meet their demise before they hit the boiler. The seasoning need to be adjusted. I dont like super spicy but even I was trying to get more flavor on these mud bugs. I really can’t see myself going back to that buffet until they serve a better selection of food and if they do crawfish again, just wait until they are bigger. Heck, I’d probably pay more if they were decently sized.
