Great little hidden gem. Hubby and I were invited to come to eat, we ordered a popusa to start with, and then we ordered the plate for 2. It was very tasty yummy . The meat was very tender and flavorful. The plate came with 2 individual sides of rice and beans with a small salad. Popusa was good. I will definitely be back. Waitress was nice and friendly.

Lunch time was nearing and we were hungry after a few doc appointments.
Heard this place had some good pupusas so let’s go! Wasn’t sure what to expect but when we walked in we got a seat and quickly was taken care of.
Daughter got tamales, which was a little different than how she was used to. Hubby and I tried them out and really enjoyed them. I had the pupusas and they were fantastic! I brought some to my mom… they were that good.

I’m not sure who makes the food there but I question whether it’s someone with any real experience making Salvadoran food. The cheese in the pupusas is gritty and it’s just an unpleasant texture. We’ve ordered delivery from here a few times and they NEVER send any curtido. The only thing worse then gritty pupusas is having to rawdog gritty pupusas. It’s also really expensive for what it is. Do not recommend.

Wife and I have been coming here for years. Christian/family owned business. Usually plenty of seating, music playing and tvs on wall. You seat yourself. The waitress are friendly, there’s alot on the menu. I ordered Salvadorean horchata, she got a pineapple water. My wife likes the mariscada con crema (Seafood soup with cream). Has plenty of shrimp, crab and lobster. She loves it. I’m not a soup person so I always get the Steak y Camarones empanizados (breaded shrimp), comes with a baked potato, small salad and casamiento(seasoned rice with red beans). Give it a try, you enjoy.

Food is exceptional! Pupusas are our favorite, you can never go wrong with them! I’ve never had a bad experience and we come at least once a month. The wait staff is also attentive and kind. Prices are not bad either. Wheelchair accessible.

I have been there several times. The food is really good, but a little pricey. The service is horrible. My order was never place until after the rest of our group had been served. Not the first time either that I was ignored by staff. No opology for not placing my order either.

I would not recommend this restaurant. As a manager in the restaurant industry I was very disappointed and I actually got sick. Let me explain , Today I went to this restaurant and half way into my meal I discovered a (ROACH) cooked into my food!!!! I immediately after recognizing what I was seeing , got sick to my stomach. The manager on duty came and had a small conversation, only to say, we are trying to get our pest control under CONTROL…. !!! In my opinion, shut down until the pest is under control. They are being selfish and violating health department codes & money hungry – still operating in that condition. I WARN the public PLEASE DONT EAT HERE!!!! If you choose to ignore my testimony, at least check your food thoroughly! I went to the doctor as well. Which ended up prescribing me-antibiotics. The kitchen needs another look!! PAY ATTENTION. The picture is a lil disturbing but it was literally cooked into the meat!

Horrible customer service! The lady that answered the phone was super rude with no manners. I just wanted to place an order for pick up like I’ve done so many times in the past. I’m really not sure what has changed. She asked for my card number to place the order via phone saying it’s per management request. I have never and will never provide my card number over an unsecured phone line.

I just called Doña Carmen on Azle Ave and guess what they took my order over the phone without asking for my card information and she was very kind. Big difference.

Be better and do better: Treat customers with the respect and kindness they deserve because there will always be another place to spend our hard earn money.
