Market BBQ #2 is a great spot for Portuguese BBQ if you want generous portions at very reasonable prices. It has more of a takeout vibe, but if you dine in you still get real plates, silverware, and friendly table service, which is a nice touch. The food is flavorful and filling, especially for the price, and takeout orders are a great value. It’s also BYOB, and they’ll provide glassware, so you can save a lot by bringing your own wine instead of paying restaurant prices elsewhere. Overall, it’s casual, welcoming, and delivers solid Portuguese BBQ without the fuss.

I got to say this I had the worst ribs in the world. I brought the 1/2 chicken 1/2 ribs which I only got 2 ribs in the tray. The chicken – fries were ok but the ribs were tough & chewy. I don’t know who did the cooking but they need to know how to cook their ribs more better!!!

I had a negative experience when I went to buy a family meal. We went near closing and the staff was already cleaning up the restaurant. I noticed that one of the pots which contained rice was opened and the staff were splashing water and soap all over. I see one of the staff members grab a spoon and pour rice into the pan to sell to me. That already raised a red flag. I didn’t want to eat soapy rice. I also saw another staff grab French fries that were also contaminated with soap and water. We left that restaurant. It’s such a shame that they expected to sell soapy food to us and other customers.
I believe that the establishment should have been cleaned after serving all the food they had no while they were scrubbing and splashing soap and water all over the place.
Never going back there ever again! Also don’t order if it’s close to the time they close the restaurant.
Good luck!

First time trying their food recommended by a coworker and I must admit they lived up to the hype I ordered the beef rib and bbq chicken combo and I was not disappointed they gave so much food I will be coming back

Great place to grab some delicious Portuguese street style BBQ. Short walk across the bridge when seeing a game at RedBull Arena.
Big portions of carbs (rice, fries) will fill you up and even have leftovers. We enjoyed our meal here and will come back again.

This is a classic bbq spot. The portions are amazing and very tasty. I recommend the steak and eggs with rice and beans. Its gonna fill you up for sure. This is the best cheat meal you can get and your dollar really goes a long way.

Top quality meats, of the 3 BBQ meats offered the pork ribs came shining through. When they say BBQ here it is not Kansas City or Texas or North Carolina style what they are saying is Portuguese syle over charcoal fired rottisserrie. Absolutely delicious, the reason that I did not give them 5 stars was poor service and an unwillingness to be friendly or accommodating to a customer that was not familiar with there menu or service style.
