I honestly don’t like to leave a bad review. I would rather just leave. But, there was zero flavor in any of our food. We shared a chicken fajita. How is it even possible to have fajitas with rice and beans chips and what they called salsa, and be so bland. We thought we had Covid until we went back to our room and had a delicious bowl of ice cream. If this is a front for something else, I hope they are doing better at that.

These people shouldn’t be in the service industry. We were the only ones in the restaurant the entire time we were there. A very odd menu for a Mexican restaurant. Food was alright but not hot. No one returned to the table to ask how our food was. We didn’t get the traditional chips and salsa. There was no toilet paper in the women’s bathroom. We received no check so I went up front to pay. The lone waitress said absolutely nothing as I paid the bill. I not sure how they got the 4.5 rating on google maps.

A group of us went for breakfast, and again for dinner because it was so good. The food was delicious, large portions and so flavorful. The service was on top of it, checking in and keeping our drinks filled. The prices are super reasonable. They’ve meshed together American and Mexican food, so there is a large variety. Definitely check out this hidden gem when visiting Seaside.

They put American cheese on their fajitas… which made them taste like a Philly cheesesteak, in a gross way. Even the free tortilla chips were undercooked, and had this gross “chew” to them, more reminiscent of a tortilla than a chip. The onion rings had little to no onion in them, and were also undercooked, and the guacamole was brown.
The first time I went here (2024) was fine! Idk what happened.

Hidden Gem The food is wonderful, I have brought family & friends with consistent fast friendly service, hot home made food. Breakfast is exceptional with fresh berries, Mexican is great and I love the free chips and salsa while you wait, best quality and value.

It was our second time to eat here. We found this place last year after taking my parents to Cannon Beach.
Yesterday, we visited Cannon Beach again. On our way home, we dropped by Marivel’s again. Am glad we found them. I particularly love their menudo. I also ordered birria tacos which was great. Husband loved his burrito.

This is a MUST go to spot!!! We decided to try it on a whim as we were visiting the Bach and WOW IT WAS SO GOOD! Amazing food with huge portions!! Owner was super nice and our waiter Jett was so nice and on top of everything!!! Thank you and we will be back next time we are in town!!!

I don’t get why this place doesn’t do more business, at least for breakfast which is when we usually go.Wanted to hit up Osprey today but they had a long wait which happens frequently. Went to Marivels and there was one table seated. The food always comes out fast and is amazing. Whether it’s an American style breakfast or one of their traditional Mexican offerings, they’re all excellent. In particular, the Chilaquiles and the Torte Cubana but nothing disappoints. And the portions…my goodness they are generous. Great prices too. Seriously, don’t let the location turn you off. It’s worth a visit, or several.

We had dinner here a month and a half ago, and I always try to leave fair review to help the people that search for restaurants. The service was good, our server was sweet. However, the food was really not great. The chowder was really watery, my husband’s enchilada doesn’t
really have any flavors to it, and the pasta I order also doesn’t have a good flavor. We went there late around 9pm, so maybe it’s just an off day for the kitchen. Maybe our expectations were too high as we read a lot of five star reviews before we went in, or we just happened to order the wrong things.
