We have been coming to Cinco De Mayo on Upper Valley Pike in Springfield, OH for almost 4 years since they opened.
If I could rate them 10 stars, I would. The service has always been top notch, everyone is very polite, friendly, and the atmosphere is very creative and fun. My whole family loves coming to this place because of it, even the family we have that visits from out of town.
We choose to come here regularly, at least 2-3 times a month, this is the only Mexican cuisine restaurant we eat at since the first time we came here. Once you start coming here, everyone treats you like family.

We ordered carry-out from Marisquería Cinco de Mayo, and everything was delicious! Absolutely loved the camarones cucaracha, the spice was on point ️ . We also ordered the ostiones especiales and they were delicious. Ordering over the phone was easy, the service was friendly, and our food was ready right on time when we arrived. Definitely one of my favorite spots for seafood!

We have gone to Cinco De Mayo every week, sometimes twice a week since they opened. We have a large family, but we clean up after ourselves, we’re always respectful, we tip very well and it’s a guaranteed $175 for the company. Their wait staff is incredible, their food is the best in town. I’m not even going to lie. There’s this one manager she just ruins the whole vibe. She’s rude to customers for no reason at all. It really is with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to them. She once again ruined the experience because she was asked for a refill of chips, no salsa just chips so we could take them home. It’s very obvious we are not welcome. I gave her the benefit of the doubt week after week. We will not be back. To the rest of the staff we love you guys and it’s been amazing getting to know all of you. I simply refuse to go back to the place because she let us know we aren’t welcome.

The enchiladas Supreme is great. I’m from TX where Mexican food reigns. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants outside of TX I have found. The menu is big so I’m sure you’ll find something great to try. You won’t be disappointed!

I love everything about this place my kiddo brought me here for the first time. The food was fresh and my hot dishes came out nice and sizzling. I loved all the flavors and a shout out to our server Abram! He was amazing he even fixed our wobbly table without us asking him he noticed the small things which was great service. Thank you Abram for making my first visit great . We will come back very soon.

First time and definitely going back! Had the Quesabirria and just like having the most tender roast beef with some extra flavor. Also, tried their pasta with chicken, mushrooms and cream sauce which was also delicious. Fast, friendly service and food arrived piping hot.

Absolutely amazing. I am picky when it comes to Mexican food but this place totally kills it. The prices are more than reasonable considering the huge portions they serve. Pictured is the Molcajete Degollada which is tender strips of steak and chicken, shrimp, chorizo, onions and bell pepper and tomatoes served in volcanic rock bowl that is super hot. The bowl makes all the steak and chicken get crispy edges which is heavenly. I had them add cheese sauce to the dish and ordered extra tortillas which was an excellent decision. The birria tacos did not disappoint and had nice presentation. You will definitely go home with leftovers.

We have had several different dishes. Personal favorites are their Carnitas (5⭐) and their Fajitas (4 1/2 ⭐, but only because we prefer the meat to be seasoned.)
The top shelf Margarita is fantastic! (I ask for a Tajin rim… YUM!)
Their portions are HUGE! Unless you have a huge appetite, expect to leave with leftovers for at least one more meal!
They have some seafood dishes that we haven’t tried yet, but the aroma from them are to die for!
I know previous businesses in this location have had a bad rep, but this is NOT SO for Marisqueria Cinco de Mayo! And if the parking lot doesn’t seem to be busy, remember, parking is at the side and back. And their entry is on the side of the building.
Get on out there and try Marisqueria Cinco de Mayo!!!! You will NOT be sorry you did!
