Marisqueira Azul is located at the corner of the Time Out Market and is a great spot for seafood lovers. On our first night, we tried the Bacalhau Assado (oven-roasted codfish) and oysters. The oysters were very fresh and well prepared, keeping their natural flavor. The codfish was nicely cooked and full of taste.
Marcus, one of the staff members, was especially friendly and welcoming. Thanks to his kind service and the tasty seafood, we decided to return the next day. This time we ordered the natural lobster, which was fresh and delicious — we really enjoyed it.
One more highlight was the bread, which was surprisingly very good and paired perfectly with the seafood. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.

Wanted a light snack after walking a lot.
Had the clams with garlic toast.
The restaurant is inside the Time Out Market.
The clams had roasted garlic cloves in the sauce. Nice light sauce and flavourful.
Had 2 glasses f wine because it was nice with the clams. Food was 15-20$
Wine was $6 each.
Great service too.
Had Leonardo as my waiter. He gave me tips on areas to see while I was in the area.
Will hopefully get back before I leave here.

Delicious seafood and wonderful service by Tairine and team! Fun chill vibes! We were here 2 nights in a row! Must have the shrimp squid ink linguine … and garlic clams, fresh oysters and grilled octopus! Highly recommended!

Both food and wine were overpriced, yet the portions were quite small.
What shocked us most was the “two-person chocolate mousse” listed on the menu. When it arrived, the portion was only half of a small cup. We asked the staff whether this was really meant for two people. The server replied that because they think it’s too sweet, so “thoughtfully” reduced the portion to about one bite per person — and called that a serving for two.
Yet when we paid the bill, they still charged the full €7 for the two-person portion as stated on the menu.
It felt like the closest thing to a scam we encountered in Portugal.
Fortunately, the staff member who served us was friendly — otherwise, I would have given it only one star.

I had the pleasure of dining at Azul, and I must say that both the food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was calm and professional, and the food was truly delicious. Although the Timeout market can sometimes be busy and chaotic, this particular area offers a quiet and enjoyable space where one can peacefully savor their meal. I would like to extend my gratitude to the attentive staff who waited on us.

Time out Market is such a busy place and sometimes you need to wait for a while to get a table. However, I lucked out today because I was alone and only one seat was available. My goal was to get razor clams and it was a success. They were fresh, juicy l, and delicious. I loved how they give you a spoon to also enjoy the delicious & sweet clam broth. Just perfect for this rainy day. There isnt much space to even wait for the table so it can be annoying but still if the wait isnt too bad, i highly recommend the razor clams. Oh my neighbors ordered prawns and they also looked very very delicious.

This place is well worth a visit if you like sea food. The oysters were so fresh. Try the clams in wine and garlic. The fresh crab was amazing. And all very reasonably priced.

You have to check this out! It’s got that crazy market vibe, but the food is so clean and focused. It’s the best thing I’ve eaten in all of Portugal. I’m actually going back for seconds before I catch my flight. I’m obsessed!

A gem of a place within the Timeout Market (Ribeira Market).
We enjoyed oysters, clams in white wine, giant grilled prawns, grilled sea bass and all were fresh and done to perfection.
Definitely eat here if you are wanting great seafood.
