This was easily one of the worst three meals I’ve had all year. When we walked in, we were greeted with obscenely loud music. The room was dirty and the chips and salsa were stale and flavorless. Service was not great either and the food took forever to come out.
We ordered shrimp and fish tacos but what we received was easily some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. It was so bad neither my wife nor I could finish eating it and ended up wasting most of it. I’m not one to waste food unless it’s truly horrible. This food is so bad I wouldn’t even feed it to stray cats.
They coated the (not fresh) fish and shrimp in some kind of flour mixture (you could taste the flour) littered with pepper and dumped it on a stale tortilla. This is the kind of food nightmares are made of. Let my review guide you to stay away from this disgusting place – go somewhere else – anywhere else, really.

fish tacos were OK. The fish was cooked well. Overall, it’s not bad. I would like to add some sauce to it because it was a little bit dry.
shrimp taco is 3 points from 5. Vegetables were fresh and good. I don’t like how the shrimp were cooked. My concerns are :
– breading shrimp (a lot of breading, I will prefer to exclude it),
– The shrimp were overcooked, unfortunately.
The handmade tortilla was too big for this taco, and my rate is 3 out of 5. Usually, I love Wheat tortillas, but it was thick for me.

After a marathon meeting with the seller of an Antioch I’llput up for sale (soon), I got the urge for something quick to eat before getting back on the road to San Francisco. I came across this place Las Plebes. I wasn’t sure if I was seeing the scene correctly because I thought it was a Mexican restaurant. And while the windows displayed burritos, tacos and quesadias, I also saw sushi! Wait a minute, Mexican sushi? Yes! So I learned something new. They do sell sushi at Las Plebes Mariscos which stands for seafood. Oh, don’t let the exterior fool you, there are seats inside — it’s cozy, looks clean and the food. It’s good! #TheBrokerWithAHeart

The lady working there brushed me off and told me since I had a To go order sat down and ate chips that would be 4 dollars they don’t seem welcoming to certain groups of people…foul and the seafood smells old . (Side note) That’s 4 dollars without salsa. They also charged me an extra 23 cents because it was convenient and I had cash instead of card.

Was invited to brunch & had never been there before. I ordered the molcajete de carne. It had pollo.l, carne asada, camarón, sausage, cheese and nopales. It was delicious!! 10/10 I highly recommend. The price was good as well. The amount of food that came with, for the price was definitely worth it, had enough to eat leftovers for dinner. The beans, you must try them!! this is my new favorite place to eat. Can’t wait to try other dishes. Everything is so good!!!

This building has been here for years! If you go to the Antioch Ca museum you will see pictures of this place. The tacos, and Cameron (shrimp) ceviche are great!!!! Everything they make is pretty fresh so you might have to wait a little longer for good food. When I went there I also acknowledged that there was one lady running the orders and answering the phone up front and one lady doing all the cooking. But they both did a great job!!!

Absolutely awful experience. This place is filthy both inside and out. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with a terrible odor that smelled like something rotting. The inside was uncomfortably hot, and it looked like no one had cleaned in days. The staff didn’t look clean either, which was concerning for a place handling food. We decided to leave, and when we stepped outside, the smell was somehow even worse—like sewage mixed with dead animals. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
