This was the best food I’ve had in a restaurant on a 4000 mile road trip!! I got the piña rellena and it was DELICIOUS!!! My boyfriend got 2 tacos and he loved those as well!

I found this as I was traveling to Marfa. It’s a cute, teal hole in the wall type Mexican seafood restaurant. No mixed drinks – just beers and Micheladas. My camarones al mojo de ajo were excellent – well seasoned and just the right portion. The salad was a nice bonus too. Plus the prices were really decent. Definitely worth the mile trip into town.

A little hard to give any review — the website says they close at 10pm. The door says they close at 9pm.
BUT when I tried to walk in at 7:05 pm today, a girl opened the door and told me they were closed, and shut the door in front of me. I heard the lock click.
I walked all the way from the truck stop to get some good Mexican food. This place was supposed to be very good.
The least they could do is be honest about their open hours.
If this was an emergency, there should have been a sign, and the girl who closed the door and locked it shouldn’t have been rude.
If they are ever open in my future trips here (I am working in the area) I can’t even say that I would try to eat here again.

We were driving to Austin and I did google for a good restaurant. Suddenly this restaurant came up. I can’t say enough about how delicious everything was.

Definitely worth the stop. The chip dip was different, but I liked it. Had the tacos de birria. The rice was ok, I did eat all of it. I did not care for the sauce that came with them, tasted like thousand island dressing to me. The tacos on there own were outstanding. Definitely would eat there again.

This place is legit- I had their Pozole and it was not kidding around! Great cucumber water too. Would definitely recommend stopping here on your way through.
