The food wasn’t the greatest. First Mexican restaurant i come to and the tacos are served with guac and coleslaw.
I had to ask for onion and cilantro on the side. We ordered a fish tostada that was super wet. It has more onions and carrots than fish.
The side of rice was overcooked and then undercooked mixed together.
I wouldn’t come here again…. Not the best experience.

The food is just as delicious as I remember it from my childhood. This place is a childhood gem. I strongly recommend the fish and shrimp sarandeado.

Our group of 7 had a great experience here. We tried both the fish fillet and the shrimp sarandeado style, hands down BEST EVER! Shrimp and campechana cocktails were tasty and full of seafood, with minimal filler veggies. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the seafood and the sizable portions. Mostly Spanish speaking staff, that are very friendly, efficient and responsive to questions. Cash and Zelle only. ATM on premise, if needed. Parking is tricky but well worth the hunt.

The food is absolutely delicious here. Our family has been going for many years and the food has never disappointed. We usually order take out including the pescado serandiado, camaron serandiado, empanadas de Camaron, y la tostada de ceviche mixta. Don’t forget to ask for their chili oil. Delicious! Their specialty is ZARANDEADO. The fish and shrimp dinner combinations are great. We have tried other dishes and any other dish is just ok. Their chips are good, but the salsa was not good. We figure it’s made with raw tomatoes and it was sour. A bit disappointing. Drinks are the average can, bottle and powdered mixes for aguas frescas. It would be much better if they had 1-2 fresh made agua fresca. Also, it would be awesome if they had smaller plates for seniors and people who can’t eat such large portions. Yes, one could take the leftovers, but who really wants to reheat sea food?

You can’t go wrong with the pescado sarandiado and their michiladas. The service is ok if you aren’t forgotten about. The atmosphere is ok too, sometimes can be a little loud you have to shout so the person across from you could hear. We come for the food though, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been coming here since I was 4 years old, I am almost 30 now. Today was the worse day of service in my entire life. The waitress was so rude. She came to take my order and when I asked for a menu she gave us an attitude and then continued to give us the worse treatment. The tortillas were like soft tostadas. I’m writing this for the staff. Get it together. There’s no reason for a father in a family of 4 to get his food, the same dish another table order after us, after the other table. I recommend this place to everyone who enjoys seafood. And I would be so embarrassed to recommend a place with staff that is so unprofessional. She’s watching me write this and now she wants to play nice but quite frankly it’s too late. I will be back, this place is too close to my heart to not come back but I will never boast about how great it is again

Authentic Mexican food and atmosphere. Been coming here for 25 years. Try the house favorite Cameron’s Sarandeado. Its spicey and worth the wait.
