Restaurant is so dark, you question whether they are open from outside. It is FREEZING cold inside. Uncomfortably cold! One other couple next to us left without ordering for this reason; my family begged me to leave too because they were so cold and waiting SO long for their food! I didn’t want to leave after ordering our food out of courtesy. But we shivered, our hands grew cold, and my nose started to run! That’s how cold it is in this restaurant! The service is extremely slow and they do not refill the chips and salsa. So, our party of 4 made short work of the small basket of chips and waited shivering for a very long time for our food. Their vegetarian menu basically consisted of salad- which is a bummer- and their kids menu is extremely limited as well. When the food arrived, it tasted good. But, then how hard is it to prepare vegetarian nachos? We wish we hadn’t strayed from our usual haunts. There are a lot of great Mexican restaurants in the area- no need to return here!

Was so bummed when Calle closed down since they had the best, biggest burritos I have ever had. Went in with my husband due to power outage at home and we were both super impressed. We got the burritos with shredded chicken and they were super yummy. They were different from other burritos I had before and had an amazing garlic flavor. Waitress was super nice and kept bringing us more chips. Prices are reasonable. Always a plus! Will totally be coming back.

Place was full! Second time we go, both times the place was packed. They did add more tables the second time around so there was even more people. They have enough waitresses but the food takes forever, they seem horribly organized in the kitchen. The food was good, their selection is what attracted me. Many diverse mexican seafood dishes to choose from. Drinks on the other hand are below average, watered down even. Very popular place for a very specific audience, can and should do better.

I took my son to the doctors for his foot. The doctor prescribed him some meds, and I asked if he would like to eat. This was the place he chose, and you know what I think there was some divine intervention. After we parked we started to walk towards the entrance and on the ground in the parking lot was a check upside down. I picked it up and looked around not really paying attention to the name, but to see if there was anyone else in the parking lot that may have dropped it. After examining a bit closer and looking at the name. It happen to have been written by the restaurant we were going to. We returned it to them and they thanked us. Nice little Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed their Taco Tuesday and some beans and rice! It was real good.

A rare find. A seafood forward Mexican restaurant not aimed at angry white Americans. Most of the first page is a mix of seafood platters (lots of shrimp and fish). I went on a Saturday and they were playing very loud echoing Mariachi Karaoke. I ordered the shrimp diabla. A fair amount of shrimp in a very spicy sauce accompanied by a salad and seasoned white rice. The shrimp were a bit over cooked, but sauce was awesome. The three stars might be a bit harsh, but a seafood joint should know how to cook seafood. I will be back to give them another shot.

MILD FOOD POISONING, HORRIBLE SERVICE, FOOD SUB PAR – NO BUENO.
I ate here last night with an old friend of mine. We used to go to Calle when it was at this location, but since they’ve moved on, we decided to try this place out for old time’s sake. I’m just going to be honest and to the point here – IT SUCKED. I’m so sorry to say it. We are not picky eaters at all, but this place was just sad. The same lady waitresses here…and while she is nice to talk to, her waiting skills are awful. We waited for 10 minutes to get our menus, we were not offered water and were never checked on. The meat was very dry and their rice tasted like it was from a Zatarain’s box. Honestly, it was a joke and such a bummer.
TO TOP IT ALL OFF, my friend and I both got sick from the food last night and are still sick today (charcoal pills to the rescue). My advice would be to never eat here. The service sucks and the food isn’t much better. You will be much happier going to El Paraiso, El Tapatio, or Todo Mexico in Snohomish.

Happened to pop in on taco tuesday when they have a one dollar taco menu( $1.50 for fish and shrimp) ordered a couple tacos and a Coke. Ok a couple of five different kinds of tacos, I had to, they all sounded so delicious! I hope I find my way back to Snohomish on a Tuesday again sometime real soon!!! I’m already craving round two! And next time, I won’t hold back!

The food was good and I like the $1.00 tacos on Tuesdays. One word of warning though: the credit / debit card reader doesn’t always seem to work. Had that happen to me today. Ordered $20 worth of food (tab came to about $20.50) and had $20 cash and I paid $20 cash and was going to pay the rest with my debit card, but for some reason the debit card got declined (even though I have almost $700 in my bank account). Not sure if the issues is coming from my bank’s end or if the debit card reader is malfunctioning (though many cards like now use a chip, which requires a chip reader) but if they are having issues with their credit/debit card reader, they should post a sign on the door or something warning customers about it. If the restaurant wants to do cash only, they should warn about that up front too, otherwise it is a major inconvenience if the credit / debit card reader malfunctions and you don’t have the extra cash to cover the charge. May have to go elsewhere (or at least carry more cash on me on future visits) if the debit card reader issues aren’t resolved Also I tried to order a quesadilla, but got a burrito instead (think that the waiter misunderstood me). Biggest issue though is that the credit / debit card reader malfuntioned on me today and while I was able to get by with $20 (was short on change to cover the full cost), restaurant needs to fix those issues, otherwise how is one supposed to pay if it is not working. Perhaps adding wells fargo atm machines closeby would help.

We were the only ones in the restaurant at noon on a Thursday. I’m ok with that, but what really made no sense to me was why they thought they needed to mop the floor as soon as they brought the food to our table. All I could taste was the smell of the cleaning solution. Maybe wait til closing, or when there are no customers in the restaurant?
