I was craving seafood and remembered that this specific seafood truck had really good reviews. I was disappointed. I paid $17 for moldy-tasting shrimp and tostadas.

ceviche is the simplest dish to make. you literally let it marinate in lemon juice to cook and they can’t even do that hahah it’s laughable.

Asked for a shrimp ceviche tostada and they just gave me a tostada of raw shrimp with tomato and cucumber. Ceviche is supposed to be cooked in lime juice with shrimp cut up not whole but I don’t think they know how to make it.

Honestly I was so disappointed because i really wanted to eat seafood and I just moved to the area. I read the reviews and I was like okay let me give it a try… well it didn’t go as I expect. I ordered a Coctel de Camarón, empanadas de camarón and tacos dorados de camarón. Just to start of the coctel was a 1.. yes it has a lot of shrimp but the shrimp is not even cleaned and no flavor.. if you don’t add some lime, salt and chili it taste like pure water. Once I tired it, I was so disappointed. Like I wished that instead of paying the $40 I did, I would of rather made it myself at home. The empanadas were a 4 they’re pretty good. The tacos dorados de camarón where okay maybe a 3 I had never tried them the way they serve it but they weren’t too bad. Customer service a 3 the girl wqs okay but honestly I will never go again. And also I was surprised they only gave me 2 broken tostadas for a Large coctel.. when I lived in la I would go to a mariscos truck and let me tell they would hook you up with extra everything not just 2 little tostadas. But anyways I’m sad my experience went like that because I was really excited to eat mariscos that day.

Food truck with good food. I had fish ceviche and a carne asada Taco. Ceviche came in a cup with a couple of tostadas lime wedges and ketchup packets and crackers. Taco was a street taco and grilled onions and radishes on the side. I will be going back.
