Out of all the mariscos in Delano, this is my personal favorite. I try fish tacos everywhere I go, but I like that these are distinct from the usual. The green salsa they come with is soo good! The ceviche is spot on like estilo Nayarit. Docking one star because I think it’s tragic they don’t put carrot in their ceviche anymore. I know a lot of people don’t try it that way, but I wish they offered the option to add it. Other than that, love this place & the service.

Hands down one of the best tostadas de camarón I’ve ever had. I am not a huge mariscos fan but WOW! It had the most delicious flavor and balance of salt and lime. And look how much avocado they topped it with!!! I was surprised to see so many avocado slices. The environment was friendly and customer service was spot on. We got our food in a very timely manner, as well. I will definitely be returning here next time I am in town.

The food was amazing! I felt like I was eating in a costal town and our server was great! I wish I could have gotten his name. He had a muscular build, Hispanic and his customer service is second to none.
At one point, I ordered an iced tea and it tasted stale. I’m not sure if it was the water or the type of tea that they brew, but when I asked for an horchata instead, our server graciously took it back and brought out my new drink and kept coming back for refills.
I ordered the shrimp and steak platter. Which came with a side salad, (on the plate) rice, beans and a mild pico de gallo with fresh veggies in it. The green salsa was just finely diced up jalapeños and it was the perfect amount of spice for the dish.
I also loved the atmosphere as there was a man with a guitar and a man with an accordion playing music Español.
This place seems like it would be a great place for a 1st date, a family dinner or just a stop in the Central Valley for some amazing seafood.
I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning for future meals!

Las islitas is always a family favorite for us we love going there to celebrate birthday, anniversaries, etc…
The hosts are always so nice and they check on you often to make sure you’re drinks are filled
The price is high but the food never disappoints!
