If you’re looking for an incredible, authentic dining experience in Puerto Vallarta, look no further. This small, unassuming restaurant is an absolute gem, offering some of the best local flavors you’ll find in the city.
The food here is nothing short of amazing—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with true craftsmanship. If you’re hesitant about diving straight into seafood, start with the Tía tostada—(Tostada de pescado) a perfect introduction to the bold and vibrant flavors this spot is known for. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. It’s also incredibly convenient—just a quick five-minute Uber ride from the airport, and you’ll be at the doorstep of one of Puerto Vallarta’s best-kept secrets.
While they have other locations closer to downtown, I chose this spot because it’s off the beaten path, giving it a more local, laid-back feel. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or a frequent traveler to the area, this place deserves a spot on your itinerary. It’s a true hidden gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience.
Today’s visit was extra special as it has been a year since our last visit. WOW, they have expanded. But do not worry the atmosphere, staff, and Juan have not lost their personal touch.
Thank you for a wonderful and delicious lunch!
Tostada, seafood soup (chilled), seafood tacos (oops no picture, trust me…delicious), and a tasty beverage.

Another standout is the ‘Prepared Combined Tostada’: 110 grams of protein featuring fish ceviche (with or without mayonnaise), pickled pork skin, tomato, onion, and avocado, complemented by lime and flavorful sauces, customized to your taste.
Add to that great margaritas and friendly service in a simple yet inviting setting. The newly paved road and enclosed free parking are welcome improvements from last year.
