We stopped here for a quick Green aguachile and it was very tasty, I love when it’s lemony and it was just right with a hint of spicy. Service was great and quick, the place is small with music and a bar top, only inside seating with parking available.

I recently dined at Mariscos La Perla Negra and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I ordered the lobster dish, which came with a hefty price tag of over six hundred dollars. To my dismay, the lobster was far from the high quality I expected. It was overcooked and lacked the freshness and flavor that a dish of this caliber should possess.
Adding insult to injury, I was surprised to find that a tip had been added to my bill without my consent. As a customer, I believe it is essential to have the choice to determine the tip amount based on the quality of service received. It was disappointing to see this lack of transparency in the billing process.
Overall, my dining experience at Mariscos La Perla Negra was a letdown. The exorbitant price I paid for subpar lobster, coupled with the unwelcome addition of a tip without my permission, left me feeling unsatisfied and disrespected as a customer. I hope the restaurant will take steps to improve both the quality of their dishes and the transparency of their billing practices in the future.

Don’t know the area. Got off the blue train in San Diego and the restaurant is about a quarter mile from the train. Place doesn’t look fancy but wow what great fresh seafood. We are from a small town in Ohio and would kill for this place back there. The host was very warm and welcoming. Like I say I’m from Ohio so maybe there are a lot of places like this out here but this one was on spot. Loved it

I went to go eat at the Buffet next door in the same mall. I was in a bit of a rush to my next appointment so I saw Mariscos and my mouth started watering.
I came in and wasn’t greeting. I actually had to use the restroom so I asked politely and also mentioned I was going to eat there too.
So I ordered shrimp ceviche.
It was horrible, it was old precooked shrimp mixed in with Pico de Gallo. I had to add lime, hot sauce and ketchup to doctor it up.
I got a can of coke and a bowl of shrimp ceviche and payed over $30.
I can make better ceviche.
Should of went to the buffet in that strip mall.
The host/cashier was really nice though.
