✨ Service was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious! The ribs were soft and tender, the breaded shrimp perfectly crisp, and even the fries were great . The coleslaw could use a little upgrade, but overall I was impressed.
I loved that they offer refills on the aguas frescas —so refreshing! The vibe was just right: old-school Banda playing , dim lighting for a cozy feel, and a mix of families, couples, and friends enjoying their time together.

Best mexican ive had in Riverside maybe it was because we went early idk but everything was so good. The atmosphere was so delightful and spacious and colorful and our waitress was amazing. The food to start off they gave us a shell soup which was so flavorful and the combination plates are priced reasonable and the plating was so beautifully done i couldnt believe it. Their copa buchona has me coming back every so often, those prawns are so delicious! Most of their food is really good and since I always visit over a weekend evening their live entertainment makes the experience even better!
Service tends to be on the slower side but it has to do with how busy they are and the stuff we order. Don’t mind waiting a bit longer if my food is being made after I order.

The atmosphere is great and the service was wonderful. I do recommend this place! It’s just that the price seems much too high without more on the plate, for instance my shrimp plate came with rice and not any beans and shrimp difficult to get out of full shell when could easily have been cut when preparing to make that easier. The bean dip that comes with chips is excellent and the salsa adequate yet I found serving it in a tiny little individual serving plastic tiny couple tablespoons size a bit cheap when the entry costs that much. That is reason gave a 4 and not 5.

I ordered Diabla Camarones. No flavor nor spice. First time having cheese in empanadas. Did not like them. The aguachile sauce they came with tastes like a bottled sauce. The chipotle sauce (u can tell by the color) tastes straight like mayo. The rice tasted weird, soggy. My husband didnt love the salsa on his mojarra (suggest putting itnon the side so people can pick their mojarra apart). No napkins and no utensils when we sat so it took a minute to flag our waiter. She was ok. But when it came to pay there was an employee at the counter and the cashier that cared more about chatting then moving out of the way for me to pay. Restrooms are disgusting. So that tells me about their kitchen. This seems like a place to just come and drink and listen to the live music (banda, norteño, ect)

The food is on the pricier side. The minimum plates were in the $20-$30 range. And it went up to $40-$50. The price is typical for this type of establishment. And the amount of food was decent.
The sad part, the flavor. I ate a campechana (Mexican seafood mix dish) and the flavor was very bland. The seafood mix looked like it came from a pre-cut, pre-cooked frozen food mix. I’ve bought similar mix when in a hurry. The shrimp was whole, but not cooked with a whole lot love. I kept adding, lime, Chile, and salt trying to find the flavor.
It is a cool place hang out, it has a good vibe. But if you are looking for a culinary experience, you might be disappointed.
