I’m not the type to leave reviews but the service I received today (from the cashier) was so bad that I have to. My husband placed an order to go over the phone and had it on speaker. He ordered one order of ceviche de camarón and one order of aguachiles VERDE. I went to pick it up and got home and did my babies routine to get her down for a nap so that I could finally eat. Inside the bag was the order of ceviche and for the order of aguachiles they gave NEGRA, not the verde one that we had asked for. This wasn’t a big deal to me and I wasn’t mad at all because I also work in food service and I know mistakes happen. What really disappointed me and upset me is what happened when I called them to let them know. When I called them, the same cashier that took our order over the phone earlier answered. I let her know that we received the wrong kind of aguachiles, and LITERALLY AS SOON AS I SAID THAT (which I said very politely since I work in food service as well) SHE GAVE ME ATTITUDE RIGHT OFF THE BAT. She kept saying “ NO NO I TOOK YOUR ORDER, I KNOW WHAT YOUR HUSBAND SAID” she kept going back in forth with me so at that point I started to give her attitude back since SHE GAVE ME ATTITUDE FIRST. She kept insisting that we ordered negra when that wasn’t true, we ordered verde. I even made sure to pull up camera footage for the manager that we have from our home security camera of us in our living room ordering. Our camera footage also proved that we ordered verde. I did end up having to waste more time and gas to go back to switch it to my correct order, which the manager was able to do for me. I do want to point out that the manager was able to take care of it. HOWEVER, even though the manager was able to take care of it, the attitude and service from the cashier was SO HORRIBLE that I don’t see myself wasting money here ever again after coming to Mariscos Espinoza for years. I’ve been going to all their locations for the past 18 years since I was a kid. Me and my family had a lot of memories here. We even came to celebrate at this exact location after I gave birth. Needless to say, we’re never spending money here again because of how bad the cashier’s attitude was.

I bought A large shrimp cocktail for pick up. I picked it up within 15 minutes when I got home the cocktail had five shrimp in it and very little cucumber. And nothing else just a bunch of bland juice with no flavor., Given a paid nearly $26 for this cocktail. Needless to say I won’t be buying food here anymore. I don’t recommend you order any food to go ever.
