After a day of golf, our buddy invited us to Mariscos El Pescado Loco. It took us less than ten minutes to get there from the golf course. It’s an end unit in a strip of stores so it has a small parking lot on the side of it. You’ll have to find street parking if the three spots are taken in their parking lot. The rest of the parking lot has a pop-up tent so you can dine outside or enter through the side entrance.
We were greeted the minute we walked in by our server. She is the best and was lovely. It’s very casual and would be a great bar at night. They have live entertainment on Friday nights after 7 pm. With the TVs, plenty of tables and seats, this place would be great to watch sports, drink and relax. Great for parties and gatherings because there’s plenty of seating.
A very chill atmosphere and vibe. I owe a lot of our excellent experience to the server because she was so sweet and outgoing. After we walked in, four other tables walked in. Instantly, she and the kitchen were in the weeds. They slowly kept coming in! She handled it with such a bubbly personality and always rocked a beautiful smile. She was attentive, our glasses were always full and our tables were always cleared off and bussed. There was never any debris on the tables.
They have a huge variety of seafood and other dishes, too. I didn’t know what to choose. The pictures on their menu are accurate and the portions to pricing is reasonable for the amount you get! You can literally order one entree and share it with two other people!
We like the tostados and their salsas, which are tasty! We had a bucket o’ beer and a Piña Colada for starters – went great with their complimentary tostados and salsa. Then our buddy ordered the Aguachile and we ordered the ultimates – Ceviche Mixto and Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (garlic shrimp). The Aguachile has just enough heat. Absolutely fantastic on top of tostadas. You can also choose from a variety of hot sauces that are on the tables.
When you order an entree, they give you a cup of soup, too. The Ceviche Mixto was refreshing, flavorful and light. The plate was piled high with fish, shrimp and tender octopus. Enough to feed four people. The Garlic Shrimp is my favorite and it came with beans and a side salad. Just the right amount of garlic and it wasn’t overpowering. Nice and buttery, too.
We haven’t had seafood in a while and it felt so great to find a spot close to one of our favorite courses. We will definitely be back! If you don’t feel like eating inside, you can also eat outside.

Came here on a Friday night. They have Karaoke which looked like a local crowd. Some great performers that evening. Now let’s get to the food. I specifically came here for the zarandeado. I ordered the pulpo and pescado. The pulpo by far was some of the best I have had. Plentiful, good quality and not to charred. Perfect amount of tenderness. The pescado was a good quality fish, not the cheap stuff you normally see. The fish was cooked just right and the amount was enough for 3 people. Quite honestly, this hole in the wall was probably my most satisfying of this trip. Highly recommend.

We ordered caldo de siete mares. It was very good. It included tortillas, lemon, cebolla picado, and cilantro. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very lively and festive. It’s also family oriented and they have good prices.

Listen I frequent a lot of Mexican restaurants 1st time to this location I can’t describe how fresh the avocado guacamole was Cut the avocados up just for us freshly made ordered shrimp tacos @ shrimp cocktail with the most tasty sauce it’s in El Sereno yes I said El Sereno right on Eastern make this one of your first stops for Mexican if you’re in this side of town karaoke Nights Service was on point one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time five stars

Found this place randomly on Google maps. Went in and it was a nice, authentic atmosphere, even had a music box on the wall. The food was good portions and it was delicious. Im picky about my horchata and it was perfect! Not too sweat or grainy at all! The tacos de camaron were full of good shrimp! More than just two small pieces like most spots! I will definitely be returning to this place to try other things on the menu! The service was great too! Big portions!
