Giving 2 stars because the service was not it. I ordered a ceviche, which was very good. The only bad thing is we never received our tostadas or crackers. I had to eat it using a fork only. We also had a botana mixta. Again, no tostadas or crackers. After the server brought out our ceviche and botana, it took him about 20 mins to come back and check on us. In those 20 mins, I was waiting for our tostadas so we could enjoy our food as we should. When he did come and check on us, I asked if we could please get tostadas. He said yes, and again I waited. He also brought my husband his cocktel vuelve a la vida, which my husband rates 0/10. It was waayy too sweet. He only picked at it. After another 20 mins or so, we decided to get up and go ask for the check ourselves. Again, we never received our tostadas. Our visit was very disappointing. I wish i could say they were very busy, but there were only about 6 tables there. Needless to say, we will stick to our original Marisco place even if it is a 30-min drive from us.

Mariscos El Gato is a true hidden gem in St. Louis. The seafood is incredibly fresh and flavorful the oysters were my absolute favorite, huge and perfectly briny.
We shared the Molcajete Kora and the Garlic mojo octopus both packed with shrimp, crab, and octopus, and full of bold, authentic flavors. Everything came out hot, fresh, and in huge portions.And the Micheladas? Endless and unforgettable spicy, refreshing, and served in massive glasses.
Great service, relaxed atmosphere, and food that hits every mark. Can’t wait to go back!

Mariscos El Gato es una joya escondida en St. Louis. Los mariscos son fresquísimos y llenos de sabor las ostras fueron mis favoritas, enormes y con un sabor a mar delicioso.
Probamos el Molcajete Kora y la Pulpo al mojo de ajo platos venían cargados de camarones, cangrejo y pulpo, todo perfectamente cocinado y con sabores auténticos.
Y las micheladas… interminables y buenísimas bien servidas, refrescantes y con el toque justo de picante.La atención fue excelente, el ambiente relajado, y la comida espectacular. ¡Definitivamente volveré!
