No wait for a Sunday evening! About 4 tables were in use. Tasty and spicy enchiladas mole plate was filling. Food came out quickly and piping hot.

It was a bit quiet for a Mexican coastal seafood restaurant, but the staff was friendly and attentive. The dining table was large but a bit simple. The food, however, was amazing—great selection of Mexican sauces. Just be aware that some dishes can be quite spicy. I definitely recommend this place.

Had a wonderful meal at Mariscos el Charco yesterday. The front of the house manager greeted me and let me choose my table and promptly brought out chips, salsa and the menu so I could begin my dining experience. Bye the way the chips and salsa were excellent, flavorful and just enough spice. I chose a mixed aguachile with shrimp and octopus and chiltepin and serrano peppers. The aguachile was very tasty and had plenty of shrimp and octopus served with the usual cucumber and red onion slices. The manager also provided additional chiltepin sauce and the actual chiltepin peppers to add to my aguachile as I liked. The chiltepin sauce was so good that I asked her if she could tell me where I could buy it locally, here in Denver. She informed me I wouldn’t be able to find it here and that they received periodic deliveries of it from Mexico. She then proceeded to give me a bottle, on the house, which was very kind and generous of her. After finishing my aguachile I had some bacon wrapped fried shrimp, which was a life changing experience. The shrimp and bacon were crispy, not greasy, just the perfect bite. It was reminiscent of eating at a Japanese tempura restaurant with their light airy fried shrimp. The restaurant in general was well organized, impeccably clean, with an inviting atmosphere. There is also plenty of free parking out front. I look forward to going back and trying their other seafood offerings. For those that are not seafood eaters, there are plenty of beef, pork and chicken dishes on the menu as well. All in all, it was great experience. Provecho!

This place is sooooo good!! Sassy Cassie is the best!! Ask for her they have a very large menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. They have Mexican/Asian fusion sushi rolls, too! Will definitely be trying that next time!

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious, the service was a perfect 10/10, and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The kids’ menu was a great bonus, making it a fantastic spot for families. And the drinks? Incredible! The Red Bull vodkas were on point, and the candy shots were a fun and tasty touch. Highly recommend this place!

Mexican seafood place in a small strip center. The food here was great. The salsa was spicy without being too hot. The tacos turned out to be one of the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had – hot & fresh. The refried beans and rice were both very good. The salad was very fresh. The menu includes many other interesting choices. Given the quality of this meal, maybe an octopus dish or the red snapper next time.
Service was very good. It was both friendly and prompt. Other members of the staff thanked me on the way out after the meal. The space was clean and fairly basic. The music was lively but slightly to loud. They had TVs on the wall, some showing a soccer match.
It’s easier to access if you’re driving eastbound on Leetsdale. The parking lot is fairly small, but there were spaces available.
Will definitely be going back again.

If you are looking for a great place to eat sea food. This is the spot. The shrimp empanadas are the best. I can eat that any given day. The menu has a lot of choices, the place is clean and the people who work there are very friendly and kind. 1000 % recommend

Mariscos El Charco in Denver is a solid place if you’re looking for a casual meal with friendly vibes. The food is good — about what you’d expect, nothing over the top, but enjoyable. What really stands out is the warm, welcoming service; everyone was kind and attentive, which makes the experience much nicer.
The atmosphere could use a bit of improvement, but overall it’s a pleasant spot with decent food and genuinely nice people. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
