We love it here. We’ve been coming for years. They have changed ownership throughout the years, but we keep going back. Our go to dishes are rhe pescado a las brasas that can be shared with the table. We also love the shrimp ceviche and the consome de camaron. We usually spend around $150 with multiple dishes including a kids meal in there. We used to go every Easter Sunday because you don’t need a reservation and they always had space available. We went back this past weekend and it was good. Definitely coming back.

Horrible service. We were a party of 6 and they took 45 minutes to bring food for 4 people and took an additional 15 minutes. Steak was dry… The waitress never came back to offer more chips or apologize for the delay. We had to flag her to order more drinks and she never brought the crab crackers so we had to ask another waiter. We also asked for the rice & beans she didn’t bring with the food either.
When I asked, didn’t this plate come with Rice and beans, she just said oh yeah… n left. Horrible waitress!! Paid over $200 & left frustrated and embarrassed because we were celebrating 2 birthdays & we picked the place.
The banda Los Cajeta was just loud not good just loud.. la cajetearon tambien! So we won’t be back. I was hoping to like it but back to Hectors it is!

Service needs improvement. Although our waitress was kind and so was the other waiter that came to ask how we were doing, neither brought what we asked:(
Pros: Nice setup. Cool (literal), industrial vibe well ventilated and TVs throughout. Complementary chips and salsa were delicious with hot and fresh chips. Tamarind michelada and piña colada were very tasty! Food was ok. We had shrimp cocktail, fish and octupus tacos and wanted the shrimp costa azul tacos but had the plate instead. The kids nuggets are generously served with french fries and daughter liked them a lot.
Cons: Server made mistake in order and brought us the Costa azul plate instead of tacos but didn’t offer to reduce price or bring correct order. Instead, she told us we could just make the tacos with the provided tortillas…lol. She was right, but missed the point!
I still tip her because it seemed she wasn’t experienced, so I just hope she learns from those mistakes. We also asked for a glass with ice twice and neither server brought us one. As for me, I’d probably return if in the mood for a good tamarind michelada but will have server triple check any food order, if any.

Today was my 3rd time going to this restaurant, & first time ordering food. I ordered their pollo asado dish. It was absolutely amazing. Grilled chicken w/pico de gallo, rice and beans, with fresh avocado slices. I’m the type who Loves to mix food together. I cut the chicken up and blended it all. Pure ‘deliciousness’ I also had two drinks. One Adios Mother*#$%er and one Mai Tai. So good. This place is currently adding on to their property. It’s spacious and they have a stage for live bands. Staff is nice and make you feel at home.

The food was delicious, the drinks were alright the tequila tasted hella cheap, my wife didn’t like her drink and instead of not charging for the drink they offered to remake it and it was as bad as the first one

Great food and service but when the live music started. I just sat there awkwardly staring at the person I was with because the music was to loud and couldn’t hear each other even though we were yelling in each other’s ears. Ended up just leaving and started standing in the parking lot to finish our conversation.
