If you want delicious seafood this is the place to go. My family and I ate her today and it was so good. My husband had seafood soup and I shared a labs and sea Molcajete. It was huge. I shared it and still had leftovers. They brought ceviche for an appetizer. This place is definitely worth the stop!

I felt that I needed to share this food Experience with y’all. I would not have thought to get Alfredo Shrimp Pasta here because I was in the mood for crab legs, BUT Oh my goodness I got it!! It was so delicious. Literally the best quality tasting alfredo shrimp pasta I have eaten in the whole Michiana area. It had everything I needed, creamy and delicate with that umami flavor and the noodles were cooked to perfection and the shrimps was juicy and fresh. Perfect balance of flavor and texture. I love it and I would definitely go back to eat it. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you want to experience literally the best alfredo shrimp pasta. ❤️❤️❤️

Could barely read the online menu but the food and service was really good. Not a standard mexican restaurant though mostly seafood. I will definitely go back.

I admit I was quick to judge when I walked in the place – it was my idea to try the modest house looking place in a industrial area of Elkhart who claimed they had the best seafood in town – but the place was nearly empty, even for a Wednesday at 6:30 pm we were one of two or three tables that had people and when the waitress wanted to seat us right next (nearly on top of) the 6 top with kids and when we pointed at another table she said that she didn’t want to seat 2 at a table for 6 because they might need it for a party of 6 – I admit I rolled my eyes at the silly excuse – obviously there were plenty of tables. Once we were seated – we tried to order ice tea which they did not have – water was our second choice but had to specify tap instead of bottled. I was a tad nervous how fresh the fish was – which the majority of the menu after seeing how empty the place was. Once we ordered – just one meal to share – the waitress brought the complimentary corn tostadas/ crackers and ceviche with limes and hot sauces – I started to eat my words and fears as I ate the appetizer- the ceviche was fantastic! And as we sat there having our meal the place started to fill up. The steak fajitas that we ordered were terrific. I feel like I will have to try this place again, giving it more of chance to impress me with their seafood dishes. I will revise my 3 star review once I can get out of my own way to enjoy the experience that they offer. Which I must say is an unusual experience for Elkhart.

This place is okay. I had heard some very terrible things about Don but I’m pleased to say it’s not too bad. However it’s not that great either. Portions are smaller than accustomed at most Nayarit style restaurants. Service seems slow but attentive. Prices are the same. Don is one of this places that I can say I tried it it wasn’t bad but I’m not going back. I cannot not recommend this restaurant, I’d rather drive to the Chicago area for Nayarit style Seafood. Portions are much larger, food has a much better flavor.

Excellent seafood with a little spicy flavor. Authentic Mexican seafood cuisine. Español required.

If you are looking for seafood this is the best place in town. It’s not your basic Mexican seafood restaurant.

We came for Micheladas. I asked the waitress if they have different kinds, she said no. Just 1 type of michelada. Then she said she has large or small. Then i scan the QR code to open the menu to find indeed they do have different micheladas. We prefer one with shrimp. Then we asked for shrimp empanadas and she told us they didnt have any so we did not order food.
The michelada is terrible. They put black pepper in it.. The rim id way too salty, we added Valentina to tame down the taste. Not sure what they use but we will not be back for micheladas.
I have had a good experience with the food in the past but We did not order food this time so this rating is solely on the michelada and the service from the waitress.she did check on us a few times so that was good.. just wish she understood the menu a little better.

This place is a hidden gem. And for anyone within an hours drive, it’s worth the trek.
The food reminds me of my grandma’s cooking. Tasty, and unique.
If you want a taste for Mexican seafood as opposed to the run of the mill steak fajitas, give this a shot.
There’s more to Mexican food than tacos, burritos and quesadillas.
