Went here for their happy hour. Got a burrito, some shrimp empanadas, and a few drinks. The parking is a little difficult, but the service was great. We received our food at a decent time. And the menu was very easy to read. Might be a little pricey, but it was still good, and they have plenty of deals on different days of the week.

Delicious food!!! Omg their fried sushi was just amazing! I have a picky toddler, she enjoyed her dish. The place looks small from outside, but it is actually nice, roomy, and cozy.

They first off they give you a cup of soup! How nice! We came on a Monday for Miche Monday and were not disappointed in our choices today. Bomb michelada options. Tasted delicious. My husband ordered a tostada de ceviche de pescado, he tore it up and they did not skimp on the ceviche! I ordered 2 tacos de asada, they were pretty good but the salsa for me personally needs to be a bit spicier for the tacos.

It’s my birthday and I had the best time. The staff especially Fabiola. She is kind , with a beautiful smile and exceptional service. The entire staff are outstanding. Let’s talk about the delicious food. There is something for everyone. I won’t tell what I ate. What I can tell you it doesn’t matter everything is delicious. Drinks outstanding and generous. I give this restaurant high praise. Thank you Fabiola! You were a great start to my birthday.

Food is good, the only thing I don’t like from this place is the parking. Parking is really limited and in many cases people tend to block.

Flavorful tacos & friendly staff. Must-try Marlin & Capeado tacos with amazing sauces. We loved it so much we ate here twice during our stay! Parking can be tricky during busy times.

This place is fire every single time. I’ve had the fried fish, both molcajetes, sushi, ceviches and even the Alfredo. The food here is consistently delicious and the servers are super friendly. It does get loud and be a bit much on the weekend but still worth it!

Highly recommend the molcajete mixto!

Seafood is something that I are particularly picky about, having grown up next to the Pacific Ocean and gorging on my fair share of the marine bounty. Growing up in southern California, Mexican food has been go-to comfort food for me in adulthood. All that said, I was floored when, instead of the standard chips and salsa, I got a little cup of spicy shrimp soup. It was a hot and muggy night and I wanted something chilled and not too heavy. So, I ordered one of the multiple ceviches: shrimp and octopus. A friend was with me and he said he’d share some soft fish tacos with me, even though he had eaten dinner prior to getting together. The simple fare did not disappoint and came in abundance. Most places serve ceviche almost in tapas quantities, so the picture in the menu looked a lot smaller than what came out, which was a decently large mound. You can see how big it is compared to the fork I left in one of the photos. The seafood in the ceviche was so fresh and only just mixed with all the finely chopped fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, that the octopus was still soft and tender. The tilapia in their tacos was beer-battered fried and oozed juice when I bit into it, which did not taste like it had been sitting out nor did the batter have any nastiness that tasted like the fryer oil needs changing. I had thought that it would be grilled fish, but the crunch of the hot batter crust contrasted amazingly with the cool, fresh vegetables on it. I wish I had more time to eat there. Even though the traffic on Monterey Hwy roared behind us, the vibe of the outdoor seating areas was happy and bright—full and still filling up, even though it was almost closing time. I’m not sure how often I will be in San Jose in the future, but I do believe I have found a new go to place to nosh.

I’ve always loved the food here and never had a problem before, but this time was completely different. The male waiter who served us looked me up and down and said, “Don’t you think that’s too much food for you?” when I ordered. That comment was offensive and unprofessional. After that, he ignored our table the whole time. When he finally brought the check and cleared the table, he even asked about the plate of tacos, saying, “Did you eat the plate too? I don’t see it here,” and laughed as if it was a joke.

The food was good as always, but his behavior ruined the entire experience. We came in happy to celebrate, but left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Sadly, after many good visits, this experience makes me not want to return.

I should have known this place before. Amazing ambiance, great vibe, great service and most of all great food and drink. Fairly priced for the freshest of ingredients they serve.
