Mariscos Camaron Pelao
Hands down one of the best mariscos spots around. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and cooked just right. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything comes out looking and tasting amazing.
The atmosphere is chill and welcoming—perfect for hanging out with friends, watching sports, or just enjoying a good meal. The drinks are on point too.
On top of that, the service was excellent. Our waitress Victoria was amazing—super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. She truly went above and beyond and made the experience even better.
Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving great seafood and Mexican flavors. I’ll for sure be coming back.
Highly recommend!
I had a great experience at Mariscos el Pelao! The food was delicious, from the flavorful sample of the Siete Mares soup to the impressive seafood tower. The seafood was fresh, and everything tasted amazing.
There was a slight hiccup with our order, as one item was forgotten. It took a little while to get the server’s attention, but it wasn’t a busy day. This is just a small area for improvement—maybe more attention to the tables would be great.
Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and would come back. The food quality makes it worth it, and with a bit of fine-tuning on service, this place could quickly become a favorite spot!
How can this be..? How can you insult a traditional sea food wonder? How can a treasure of treasures be desecrated like this.. If it was possible to sure a place for almost destroying someone’s favorite food…. I would be in front of a judge right now as I write this pain staking experience..
Myself and two friends stopped to get some Mariscos, a comfort food that needs no colorful description. Because it’s “Mariscos ” it’s flavors, it’s traditions .. it’s that place of happiness and memories of wow you got to try this!!! That never happened. In fact, we all looked at each other almost at the exact same time with a look of disgust and facial expression of ,wait, what about their dish… and we asked each other how their food was, and we were all in disbelief on how horrible it was.. i had a Campechana (mixed sea food cocktail), and so did one of my friends, and it tasted like stake water that had been sitting in a bowl for a few days..
My other friend had the aqua chiles ( shrimp cooked in lime juice mixed with green chili sauce) and they shrimp where grey and he couldn’t even force himself to eat a single while shrimp out of the few he tried to eat…
Then you have the server who seemed nice but disappeared and treated us like we didn’t exist. .. which should be hard to do, and there is only one other table singing at the moment, and it’s being taken care of by another server…
Oh I can’t forget to mention the sad concoction the gave, calling it salsa…
This place is A disgrace to Mexican seafood, ( “Mariscos “)
Hopefully this review will save someone’s taste buds from death by disgrace….. one can only pray and hope…
How do you give negative stars…?????
