Always great food and great service! Cheap prices and great seafood! Got the black aguachile botana and all I got to say it’s delicious. Fish tacos are great as well if I ever crave one this is the place nice and fresh made until u order. The tostada de device de Cameron always a great option as well highly recommend this spot! Hands down great place!!

Really good food!
Ordered some fish tacos, a seafood burrito, and a blue fin ahi tostado that had jalapeños. I really want to go back and check out the rest of the menus — there is a pretty decent sized variety that looks good.
The service was typical but everyone seemed nice and friendly. I couldn’t really hear the person taking my order because they were cooking and frying and the exhaust fans were going on —- but the person was nice enough to repeat themselves.
I’d definitely come back and order food again.

The food was fresh, really good and the portions were good size. At first I thought the large shrimp cocktail looked small and wasn’t gonna be enough but it was plenty, I ended up getting a jumbo mixed seafood cocktail that was really jumbo and it had a lot of good shrimp, oysters, scallops and octopus and I couldn’t finish it. The gobernador was really good also. The place is worth a shot for sure

This place is so good! I got a shrimp cocktail and it was amazing! Didn’t even need to add anything to it, it was perfect as is! 10/10 would recommend!

Food does not taste fresh. I bet they used canned stuff too, yuck!!! Do not recommend. Ordered “La coqueta” and got super sick, kinda my fault because it did look questionable. Also had some type of octopus taco that was extremely spicy, overcooked and the octopus tasted old and not fresh at all. Won’t be coming here again!

I stopped by this food truck with attached, covered patio. The proprietor was welcoming, very knowledgeable, and patient with this newcomer from the neighborhood. It was a cool, damp, and rainy Saturday morning, so a complementary cup of hot broth warmed the tongue while waiting to be served. I ordered 2 tacos with everything, but mayo, to go. I added guacamole condiments and napkins. When home, those two fish tacos were so good that I wished for another one! Sometimes, there’s a great eatery only a few blocks away from home! YAY!

The cocteles are good, though, but expensive. $20 for a 16-ounce shrimp cocktail. . . My friend and I got a cocktail, a plain quesadilla, and a fish taco and two cans of Coke and it was $45.

I’m not originally from El Cajon, I hail from Chula Vista. And if anyone knows anything about mariscos “roach coaches” is that Chula Vista/san ya ideo have the best ones in Sd.
I must say, that Maricos & Birria El Prieto does NOT disappoint.
After living in El Cajon for the last four years this is the roach coaches I’m loyal to.
They have THE best breaded shrimp tacos. Their portions are gargantuan. My man is Dominican and I recently started bringing him here, and trust me this guy is picky! He loves it. He gets the carne asada tacos with just onion and cilantro, and they always get his order right. He even drink the little broth (consomé) that they give you for free for standing and waiting for your food. He doesn’t even like seafood, but he loves the broth. I’ve gotten their campechana cocktail too and it’s so delicious and fresh. Their salsas are bomb too!

The food is really good but the service it’s awful the girl taking the orders didn’t even say hello and had us standing there, without talking to us. Always with an attitude since this is not the first time and this time we just had it. This is the last time we come here we try to not to let that bother us but she always treat us with a nasty attitude one day our food was ready but she never call us she called everybody else but not us and when we ask she gave us the food all cold . Awful experience and service.
