A packed restaurant on Main Street! The happy hour deals were quite good, cheap appetizers! Make sure to visit during happy hour! The calamari was not quite fried enough, still kind of chewy and rubbery. The dip sampler was good; the dips were all tasty, but the pita did not taste very fresh. The chicken skewers were well cooked and tasty, but definitely was an underwhelming portion for the price (I was expecting it to be served over rice or something?!?). The Aegean burger was the star of the show, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked; the feta gave it a great flavor! The French fries with the burger were crispy and real potato (bonus points)! Overall a good spot, just make sure to know what you’re ordering!

My husband’s family is Greek, so anytime we see a new Greek spot, we have to try it. I can confidently say this is hands down the best Greek restaurant we’ve had in the surrounding area. It’s been such a long time since we left a restaurant genuinely gushing about our meal that I had to write a review.

The menu is incredible. Everything you could possibly hope for but on top of that, the Valentine’s Day special was absolutely to die for. We started with the oysters from the special menu, which were outstanding. I ordered the steak entrée (pictured), and my husband had the lamb chops—both were cooked perfectly and bursting with rich, dimensional flavors.

We also ordered two orders of the cheese saganaki because it was that good. They light it on fire right at your table! An unforgettable date night spot and an absolute must-try—we will definitely be back!

A great Mediterranean experience in Media. PA! I went couple times to try the menu and was surprised every time with great flavors, combinations supported by a full bar! From the menu, the Spanakopita was delicious, the layers of golden, buttery and flaky filo pastry is a must! I heard is home made and they make it daily! Another appetizer tested was the octopus and the fries cheese, you will not be disappointed. Branzino was the choice for the main entry, it was fresh, delicate, without any contrast, pleasant, and easy to eat, you can have the servers to help you serving the fish for you. I will definitely will stop by again.

My family and I celebrated my son’s birthday here. The food was amazing. I had the branzino along with seasonal veggies and roasted potatoes. My wife had a shrimp salad and a crab cake. My son had lamb chops. My daughter had the slice steak meal. Compliments to chef Tyreek for making my daughter steak flavorful . He did a great job on all the meals . Fine dining is my family favor activity and this place met our standards . Thank you Emily for the great service

So happy to have a Greek seafood place in Media. There are so many good options on the menu, I’m going to have to come back a few times to try it all. Olives, octopus, lamb, oysters, fried cheese, shrimp orzo, and so much more. I love it all, and I’ll be back for more. I enjoyed the Greek beer, but I’m looking forward trying some of those cocktails.

We had the most incredible dinner at Maris in Media! Every single dish was outstanding. We started with the Saganaki, which came out perfectly melty and delicious, and the grilled octopus—tender, flavorful, and honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. The spanakopita was warm, flaky, and packed with flavor.

For our mains, the Aegean burger was amazing, cooked perfectly and so unique. The shrimp & feta orzo was rich, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and the lemon roasted potatoes were the perfect bright, comforting side.

From start to finish, the food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch. Mari’s is truly a gem — we’ll definitely be back!

Media PA is a wonderful and RT town with plenty to offer. However, the one thing they did not have was a seafood restaurant….MARIS to the rescue!
We have eaten there twice since they’ve opened and both times been wildly impressed! The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. Reminiscent of Coastal restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The menu, inspired by the Mediterranean, is filled with options for seafood lovers, and those who prefer something Outside of that type of dish. Boasting the only raw bar in the area, the oysters were magnificent! The crabcakes were spectacular…. And the lamb was absolutely outstanding.
The plating and presentation was top-notch and rival that of what you would find in a Michelin star restaurant. We love the service and let’s not forget about the cocktail and wine menu. I recommend the Zeus martini!
If you were into Wines, the woman that is the general manager has studied with sommeliers in France and can offer great suggestions on pairings!
So far a great night out with a Mediterranean flair I highly recommend MARIS in Medi PA!

We were seated immediately at the bar and served drinks right away, which was a nice start. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t match the price or expectations.

The pita and dip appetizer was decent, but for $18 the portion of pita was tiny. When we asked for more, we were charged an extra $4, which felt unnecessarily stingy. The shrimp appetizer arrived raw in the middle and had to be sent back; the replacement was good, but the over-explaining from the server made the whole thing awkward.

Our whole branzino tasted fine, but it was served without any utensils or extra plates to help fillet it, and it was drowning in sauce, making the process messy and nearly impossible even for someone that does often. For a dish like this, the presentation and setup really matter, and they missed the mark. This was the most mystifying part for us.

The sides were disappointing too. The “seasonal vegetables” were out-of-season zucchini and squash, under-seasoned. The Spanish rice didn’t resemble the menu description at all—no dill or leeks, but instead mixed with unlisted leafy greens.

Overall, despite a promising start, the meal had too many missteps to justify the cost. I expected a more polished and thoughtful experience.
