Delicious! Fresh! Fast! This was my first time visiting Mario’s Tacos and it did not disappoint. I am a chilaquiles lover, so was so happy to see they had it on their menu. It has an excellent flavor and great portion size. I highly recommend if you’re Lockhart local, or are just passing through. Can’t wait to come back with family soon.

Fantastic spot to stop for breakfast. Their tacos are a good size and always fresh and hot! Bean and cheese are great, eggs are perfect, sausage is delicious. Their salsa is solid, even the pancakes are really, really good. Never disappointed when I stop here after a long night at work.

The food was decent. The salsa was good but definitely different. It had something in it that I have tasted before but couldn’t figure it out. I was thinking that they used tomato bullion cubes in it but it definitely has a different consistency and color

We stopped at the gas station where Mario’s Tacos is located. We spend $36 for a family of 4. The tacos and miga plate were well seasoned and each taco had plenty of meat, peppers, onions and cilantro. Great value!

The girl up front is a natural for her job. Great personality and super friendly. The fajita taco was ok, but the breakfast breeta was the bomb as were the 3 diff fresh salsas! Good iced tea too. Will def be back.

Mario started out as a food truck and went on to have a really nice brick and mortar restaurant. Their tacos are about the best around in my opinion. Definitely worth a try if you come to Lockhart. Bar-b-que isn’t all we have here.
