~ I really like Mario’s Taco & Burger House. I’ve visited here for the most delicious breakfast tacos, for probably over 10 years! The staff is really nice, and they are nice to create the breakfast tacos with the way I ordered them. They also have a lot of delicious fresh salsas, cilantro, and yummy toppings that add a little extra deliciousness to the food!
The steak and shrimp burrito is also very delicious. (It’s called the “must have gourmet burrito”).

Had a chicken torta and chicken taco, both of which were delicious and easily customizable to your preference with the sauce bar . I think we found our new taco place and it was definitely needed

So happy that I decided to give this small hole in the wall a go.
I arrived here after the lunch crowd on a Wednesday. This establishment still had a decent crowd on the dining area.
I order the Hamburger special that come with fries and a drink.
Mario’s uses Angus beef for their hamburger patties. The buns are nicely toasted and the patty is about a 1/3 pounder with plenty of flavor.
The fries had a good crispness to them.
They have a fountain drink system to self self your refills.
The only negative I see eating here is they open at 8 a.m. 7 a.m. would be better so I could pick up a couple of breakfast tacos on my way to work.

Top tier fish tacos! Only had fish tacos from 2 other places in Houston that could even compare.
Been meaning to try a burger just haven’t been able to get past the fish tacos yet.
Mario is excellent! While they have a static menu he is awesome at speaking with you and figuring out what and how you want it whether it’s on the menu or not as long as they have the ingredients.
He really makes you feel at home.

Food was nice and fresh. It was cooked to order the service was excellent. The California burrito was very good and filling. The Carne Asada fries were good. The meat in the carne asada tacos was good but I didn’t care to much for the flour tortilla. I will be coming back because everything was worth it.

I was giving a heads up about this place by someone saying how did the food was here. So I inquired what should I try if I go they said try the Mexican burger and get the matcha sauce. So today I had the opportunity to try this great place that matcha sauce is off the hook gets homemade three times a day in the kitchen served fresh it went good with my burger my chips my fries what’s your hand peeled. My Mexican burger had authentic taste to it served with a real piece of ham avocado a third pound Angus style burger. This is a great place to come in hang out with friends and enjoy some good food. The employees and the staff keep this place very clean I will definitely be back
