We placed a catering order for Saturday and we were very impressed! Joseph was a great help, and all the entrees came out amazing! Yummy fresh bread!

We were there at opening, so it wasn’t busy at all. We were seated quickly and our server took our drink order. He was friendly and professional. Even though it wasn’t busy, service was super slow. After ordering appetizers and our dinners, we didn’t get our food for over an hour. My nephew was getting antsy after waiting so long. Once the food arrived, it was good, but not spectacular. The portions were decent even on the early dinner menu. By the time we left, we had been there over two hours. It may be awhile before we visit again.

Love Mario’s! Hadn’t been there in 10 years and it was exactly as I remembered. Patrick was a wonderful server. The stuffed artichoke was to doe for, and I had the best gluten-free pasta EVER, with red clam sauce. Delicious. My husband had veal parm and loved it. We won’t let 10 years go by ever again!

I have discovered that this is now my favorite restaurant in the area. I have never been disappointed. We have been here 3 times now. The quality and taste of the food is OUTSTANDING. The portion size is good. If you leave hungry, it’s your fault.

Without a doubt the best Italian food in town. What a gem, hidden on the side of us1, you walk through the front doors back to a place where everyone is on a first name basis, food is like you imagined having an Italian mother would be, and the decor reminds you of a time when food was digested first by the eyes before the stomach. I feel transported in place and time when I visit here. Authentic. Jennifer 25 years serving and she shows it in class and attention. Gina thank you for a wonderful evening.

I ordered delivery using grubhub from this establishment. I ordered chicken Parmesan. There was little to no sauce on the chicken. The sauce that was there was just grease. There was such little sauce I had to make more sauce at home on my own accord just to eat the meal. The chicken was breaded and completely soggy. The only redeeming factor was the noodles being cooked well. But, the noodles that came with this meal also had a small dab of sauce that would have never been enough to cover all the noodles. This is definitely the most underwhelming Italian meal I have ever had in my life.

Food was delicious, had a great waitress Michell. As soon as we sat down they asked what we wood like to drink and then they took our order and everything came out in a timely manner. Michelle made us feel like family. The atmosphere was lovely.

Very good service and food. We enjoyed the Shrimp Marinara. Sausage and Meat Sauce, Stuffed Mushrooms, Pasta Fagioli Soup, Garlic Bread, and Salads. Everything was good, however by the time our pasta come out for service, the pasta had soaked up most of the sauce. We should have ordered some more sauce on the side. Some fresh cheese on our soup would have been nice too. It was still a nice meal.

I have been eating at Mario’s for knocking 50 years and until tonight I have never had a bad meal. I wasn’t even going to write a bad review until I read the number of similar reviews and thought that maybe management needed to do a little soul searching. The sauce used to be excellent now watered down tomato paste. The shrimp scampi was always amazing with a too die for flavor now as if a number of ingredients have been removed and served much cooler than in the past.Previously almost bubbling. I noticed a couple of years ago they had added a good bit more hot spice to the sausage which I thought was a negative and still do.The spice was overpowering and takes away the flavor of the sausage. Maybe it’s just me but my son felt the same way. There were a total of five of us and I have taken them there for a number of years. They all felt the same ,the quality and taste of the food has gone way down. It’s truly a shame because to me it was always a place you could count on for consistently excellent food. Like many other places cost cutting seems to have won out . The quality of service remains high however what’s the point when the food is below par and the prices have risen. I don’t think dad would be happy.
